I arrived on their ‘day off’ so nobody to greet, no services such as water in room or restaurant. If this is a regular occurrence I think would be better to close on the day off. I had been travelling and been to lots of hotels but the first in Luxembourg so maybe it is normal not to have mini bar or water, coffee in room etc.

Nothing except the restaurant closed early. We wanted to patronise the restaurant at 6pm for dinner but was surprised it closed so early.

Room with view on 2nd floor. Generally it was a clean room.

The room was very warm and stuffy, so we were glad to open the window. the wardrobe was musty. otherwise it was great

We enjoyed the proximity to the bus lines and the castle. We also liked eating right on the river. Thank you for providing a mini fridge, it is very helpful while traveling. Good access to streaming services on the television.

The room smelled like sewage, the balcony had bird poop which made it impossible to use and the breakfast food buffet was covered in flies and the hotel has no parking provided.

Extremely small. No AC. Strange portable cooling unit that smelled like dog & didn’t work. Had to open windows but was noisy & flying little bugs.

The price point was good. Off season therefore nothing happening. Very close to Vianden castle.

Room was right next to stairway, and I woke up several times when someone would step on a squeeky floorboard or bang against the door with a bag or luggage. A shower mat would have been useful, a lot of water from the shower splashed onto the floor and now we had to use one of the nice towels to prevend the floor from becoming slippery. With the shutters up, people in the building across the street can look right into the bathroom..

Lovely room with a view of the castle. Very spacious with large bathroom and wardrobe. Bed and towels were amazing. Lots of charming little details to make you feel welcome. Vianden isn't big so you'll have everything within walking distance. IF it's open that is ;)

No parking on site and only 3 hrs limit pay parking during the day (if you can find any) in the immediate vicinity. There is free street parking about 1km away. I did visit during an annual festival which did not help. Unfortunately my room was directly over the bakery and so was very warm. The portable air conditioner supplied needed an open window in order for the a/c vent to discharge. This then allowed flies to enter the room.

The staff were friendly and helpful especially Sandra at reception. The location is excellent for visiting the castle.

The price is way way way to high for what you get. We paid 260 for 1 night. The location is actually what you pay for, so do not expect any luxery for this price. Rooms are super basic, which is fine for me, but not for this price. Also quite some things were off; the door of the toitlet was broken, the gasheater was taken out below the window, the open piping was still there, and instead of the heater there was a campingfan. The draining of the shower was a bit stuck. Also no little details as shower gel available, no fridge in the room etc. Again fine for me, but price/quality is really out of balance. So be aware of this when you book this place.

No free parking, there was no trash bin in a room, the shower sucks-water is all over the bathroom. Really poor equipment of the room.

The hotel is surprisingly expensive for its degrading state, with >30 year old beds, old linen, no wifi password, no toilet paper, and no reception with personnel to help. Telephone contact numbers at the door are not answered. It is well situated, but in need of a new interior and owner.

Vianden has a nice castle to visit. Otherwise, it is deserted.

There was no-one present at the hotel when we arrived and the instructions given prior to arrival on how to access the hotel and what to do when leaving were lacking. Information about whether the restaurant was open for breakfast was conflicting (app vs. on the door of the room vs. notification outside the hotel).

Big room with a great view towards the castle snd a comfortable bed. Excellent location. Reasonable price.

The TV was not working and we were informed the day before that the restaurant was closed and no breakfast would be served. No hand soap was provided in the bathroom. A small empty bottle of liqueur had been left in the room, which was otherwise very clean.

Great location by the river and the Victor Hugo Museum. Good-value room (decent size for the price).
