No shops in vicinity and local bars didn’t do food on night I arrived. Get some provisions in for the first night if travelling. Tight parking but a half decent driver will cope with 3 point turns in yard.

Delightful property, really comfortable Just what I was looking for and will try to stay again next time I am in the area.

The property was in a lovely convenient location for me & was just as described. The place was uncluttered & the decor/furnishings were very much to my style. The next door host was very pleasant. Loved the chickens on-site.

It was ideal for us. We didn't need pubs or shops etc. Very narrow rural lanes on the way. It was easier to park on the lane outside the gate than manoeuvre inside the gates. No issues at all.

Lovely quiet, rural position. Had all the amenities you could need. About 15 minutes drive to Barry for a family wedding.

Whilst easy to find it was a very narrow lane to get to the property and used by a lot of other vehicles. We couldn't always get into the yard of the property as we needed to wait for the owner to get her dogs into her house. The sound on the TV in the downstairs part of the property wouldn't turn up and it was really quiet.

Small, compact property, but with everything you could need. Very clean and tidy property and lovely comfortable bed. Easy to find. Useful to have a dishwasher as well.

The only negative response would be advertised as Llancarfan, but was actually in Llanberthery.

Lovely cottage, clean and everything you could wish for. Priscilla, the co-owner was great, fresh milk in the fridge and a delicious chocolate cake. Also, managed to buy a dozen free range eggs gathered from her chickens. Two lovely little Westies that ran around the yard and visited us.

The owner of the property was very friendly. She came out to meet us and engaged in conversation about why we were staying. When we went entered the cottage teabags, coffee, milk and sugar was provided. The lady had also baked a cake and left us a slice each- it was delicious. When we left for the concert we once again engaged in conversation with the owner and the same upon our leaving. The cottage is beautiful and so is the surrounding land it’s very peaceful.

Nothing wrong with the cottage. This property is not in Llancarfen, it's in Llanbethery, a completely separate village, deeper into the countryside. Sat nav not always helpful depending which direction you approach from, and road signs often missing.

Cottage is well-appointed and comfortable. Quiet and safe, car can be parked in the yard.

A little difficult to find as my sat nav kept on dropping out but Nick was at the end of the phone with helpful directions.

The place was very quiet and peaceful. Excellent size with good kitchen area and relaxing tv area. The kitchen was well equipped. Pricilla produced 6 farm eggs which were delicious.

Lovely location, would have been perfect if I wasn't working! View from windows was beautiful - a field of sheep on one side, and chickens on the other! Absolutely loved it! Facilities in the cottage were lovely and clean, provided tea, coffee, sugar - even brownies as a little treat! All kitchen items were excellent, and clean, like cooker, oven, oven trays. Even had food bags for my snacks to take to work, as well as kitchen roll / foil. The directions given to drive to the cottage were perfect and made sense. Priscilla and her dogs were lovely, this was a truly lovely and relaxing stay.

I found Stable Cottage to be a tranquil, light & airy space. It’s well equipped & modern, with charming traditional touches added in the decoration. I slept so well in the large, comfortable bed & relaxed in the downstairs living area. The hosts, Pricilla & Nick, along with K9 assistance Bruce & Mitch have been very accommodating & kind.
