Had to call staff to allow us to check in. This was not advised in the booking details and sometimes international tourists may not have ability to make calls.

Lack of lighting in the room. Could have done with a mirror by the dressing table. Thin walls, someone tried to get into our room, waking us up. We then promptly heard them be sick for 20 mins. Also woken up by our neighbours phone alarm. This as was all early hours of the morning.

I was occupying room six on my last night the residents in room four caused me lots of problems first of a person fell against my door shortly afterwards there was vomiting for at least 10 to 15 minutes then lots of noise then it went quiet until 630 in the morning. There was a knocking on my door a few seconds later another knock asking for a person that clearly wasn’t me and then they knocked on their door and 7 o’clock somebody started hovering far too early for housekeeping.

The kitchen people left dishes in the sink The couple next to us were loud the walls must have been thin they were being loud till I fell asleep around 12.40am someone took my clothes out of the washer still quiet wet then I found them in the dryer wet went back later to see if they were dry found a person staying taking them out and putting her clothes in why mine were still wet she told me it was her and it too bad

The walls are very thin so any noise made by other rooms can be heard. Unfortunately the people staying next to the room I was occupying were very loud until the early hours of the morning, this is at no fault of the staff however was not ideal.

Comfortable room, had everything that was needed and was In a good location that was easy to find. Very good room for the price.

For the money you really couldn’t ask for more.

Rooms are compact but have everything you need. Comfortable bed. Lovely big white towels. Great shower where no water escapes…must be a first that! Great location for the station and pretty easy for the football at Plymouth Argyle.

Had to wait for 20 minutes at reception before check in as no one was there, was a bit too expensive for the amount of time we was actually there and size of the room.

I felt the advert and photos for the Kings Cross rooms made them look like they have their own kitchenette. They don't. There are about 8 Kings Cross rooms in total and they all share the same kitchen.

I was really impressed by the quality of the bed and bed linen, and the shower, which had ample pressure and lovely hot water. Big fluffy bath towels and plenty of them. The fact that you can use a washing machine and a tumble drier free of charge is amazing. The location is fab.

Several guests and I waited 15 minutes for a member of staff to turn up for 3pm check in. I had been phoned by the staff the day before to confirm check in time, so there was no miscommunication about expected arrival time. There's a phone number to ring at reception, but nobody answered it or responded to various peoples attempts. There was a brief apology when someone turned up to check people in. There were 4 groups by then to be checked in, not a quick process. The kitchen was very sparse with equipment. Cooking utensils was a pair of tongs - there wasn't a wooden spoon or basic equipment needed for cooking (no oil, salt, pepper). There seemed to only be 2 forks (the kitchen is shared by 6 rooms), and not much cutlery, no bottle opener or any basics. Strangely there was lots of glasses. The dishwasher never gets emptied by the cleaners, and they only leave 2 dishwasher tablets and then don't replenish. I emailed over several days to say the washing liquid had run out and there was no washing tablets. I was told the cleaner would replenish, but it took several days/multiple emails. The kitchen doesn't seem to get cleaned very regularly - and I highlighted this during my stay, so they were aware.

The room was modern and new and nice bathroom. Plenty of plug sockets. The kitchen was spacious

The ventilation in the room is clearly not enough. I believe in most of the days, it should be fine. But the room I lived in was a ground floor small room in a early summer day, the room is a bit stuffy and I cannot open the window during the night (it is just next to a street and there is no restriction on the window so it could only be fully opened). A bad experience for me.

The location for a traveller is perfect. 1 min walk to the train station and not far away from the city centre. Convenient enough and clean enough.

The shared area was fairly small and felt a bit clinical.

Rooms very clean and comfortable, although not much room in them besides the bed. The apartment was well kitted out and everything felt new and fresh.

This was a last minute booking due to a bereavement and we needed somewhere to stay, the accommodation was good with everything you needed and in a great location close to the town, staff were friendly and check in only took a few minutes so we will definitely use this location to stay again.
