We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThere wasn't anything to dislike about the accommodation. Other than the fact that the information provided was all very generic, as it's set up by a big company, which is fine. However, there was no specific information about the property and where to find/leave things.
The house is located on a holiday park, which was great out of season too - we went to Falmouth to visit my sister and new niece, so it was a great location to do that. We were also able to walk from the house down to Swanpool and Maenporth. The internet worked well, which we weren't expecting because of previous reviews. Simple accommodation, but it served our needs.

United KingdomThe kitchen is an odd set up, with loads of (empty) cupboards, but only an undercounter fridge (including a small icebox), no dishwasher and a slightly odd mix of kitchenware. Could do with a proper size fridge/freezer, dishwasher and improve the selection and quantity of kitchen essentials. The print had worn off the cooker, which made using it entertaining. Maybe a sharpie and some spray lacquer could fix that. Other kitchens I saw on site seemed to be nicer. The internet was slow, even for Cornwall where you have to queue up and take it turns to use it! A few other people on site said theirs was fine. TV was a little basic, but worked well enough. Sofas were fine, but could be a bit better.
Nice and quiet at the end of a row, surrounded by trees, and well shaded in the heat. Powershowers in the bathrooms were good (but a little noisy if anyone's asleep). On-site facilities were nice (small pool and jacuzzi, small soft play area, nice little cafe with acceptable prices). The stream, gardens, blackberries and apples were good, and there was a small farm shop hut by the tennis courts. Location of Pendra Loweth is great; near Swanpool beach and not far at all from Falmouth centre and other beaches like Maenporth. The hosts were friendly, although we didn't meet them. They dropped round a missing soap bottle for one of the bathrooms and a corkscrew pretty promptly (2 bottle stops in a draw but no corkscrew!). There was a little welcome basket with tea/coffee/sugar, some biscuits and milk in the fridge. No smellies in the bathroom, and only one tea towel. Having a washing machine was good.

United KingdomWifi was awful. Had trouble connecting and would often say connected but no internet available. When it did work it was really slow. We had 3 phones connected so not an obscene amount. Wouldn't be so bad but as you don't get great signal it would be nice to be able to contact people through apps needing wifi
Great space, clean and almost everything we needed available. Only thing that could have been better would be updating of the furniture, bedding etc but were more than happy with the stay.

AustraliaAccess can be a little tricky, g-maps took us to the wrong location and as the area is a bit spread out that didn’t help. That being said, we were able to chat with some staff members who were able to point us in the right direction

United KingdomNo internet despite this having been reported by several previous guests going back over ten months and nothing done about it. Only five seats to sit six people and three of those were really uncomfortable and the other two were on a filthy sofa, with a wooden blanket to hide the dirt. Beds uncomfortable. Useless pillows that had no support (cheap and nasty) Cheap bedding. Floors In the bedroom bounced Cheap bedroom furniture Massive spiders web in the bedroom that was at least a month old (by the size) when we got there (from one side of the window to the other and six + inches down the window) Carpets were poor and fraying and incorrectly fitted ( wrong door bars - double door bar from bedroom to en-suite when it needs to be a single from carpet to vinyl) Wooden floor in hall lifting Wooden floor in dining room lifting Ice cube trays frozen solid to the bottom of the freezer with an inch of ice so could not use.
