The lack of a lift. While it was still very good value the amount charged was greater than indicated on Booking.com .

The breakfast buffet was overwhelmed when I went so some items were unavailable, I’m sure it was just a timing issue as a large group of workmen were there at that time.

Location near to the motorway was handy. Free parking was also good.

Neighouring room had television going all night at a loud volume which kept us awake. Sound proofing around tenancy door could be better.

Reception staff on arrival was not very nice at all....I was unaware to have licence or passport on me for ID I will In future, had no interest in guests and not very helpful.... However lovely fello on reception that Pm couldn't do enough was really helping excellent communication skills as again different girl in the morning at check out was sooooo nice , very helpful and very kind .

Some parts of the hotel could do with a bit of updating and there were no sockets beside the bed. Also my door didn’t lock but there was a security chain on it.

The staff were so friendly and efficient. The food was excellent and it was good value.

Our Breakfast on morning of departure was v poor, WHAT is the situation with the "Fruit Juices"??... Orange Cordial??... I didn't try the "Apple Juice"?? as it looked awful...many pots of tea, all just tepid & too strong, v haphazard breakfast service overall, we had to ask for Milk, likewise the table next to us, no teaspoons with cups, had to ask a 2nd time for our initial order of Toast, my wife & I had Omelettes, NOT good at all.. REALLY NOT good, no glasses in bathroom or clothes hangers, Very shoddy Shower controls, no basic guides as to its operating functions, loose Rain shower head, hand held auxiliary shower head literally useless as regards water spray. Although in fairness it did state late functions do take place, but the pounding Bass reverberating through the hotel till 1am would mean we not returning for a future stay at weekends, this is the only review I give on any of my travels, I do NOT partake in any Hotel/Hospitality website reviews.. overall a v good value Honest Hotel with some basic errors that could be v easily rectified... Thank You.

Prices, convenience for my early morning appointment, I missed breakfast but my wife asked for a v late serving of Scrambled Eggs Bacon Tea & Toast on my return at 11.35am, whch was very much appreciated & of very good quality & standard, it was a very nice gesture, evening meal v good, abundant free parking, friendly & v helpful staff throughout....v good efficient unobtrusive housekeeping personnel.

There wasn’t a lift and my cousin had difficulty with the stairs leading down to the bar area where we went for something to eat

All the staff were so pleasant and especially Caroline, I think that was her name she was on reception Mon 18th she went out of her way to help us in whatever way she could ..Wonderful person.

The staff were very friendly and helpful full and you have an honest staff I believe they share tips Jay was very honest explaining to me as I said it was for him the food was nice and again the staff were very accommodating nice decore in the hotel and .rooms were clean allow coul do with carpet replaced as was stained in room was disappointing in the bongo night tight Squeeze chairs very tight to gether not much room to move are dance that would put me of in that particular room also no drink promotion in that bar very busy ,

No milk for teamaking facilities. Around 8am was wakened by loud scratching sound from next door. When we left our room a hour later, we discovered it was painters and decoraters refurbishing room next to us.

The waiter took used milk from another table to serve us. We just took it and never raised any concern. But, think it was not nice to do that.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are pretty clean. Breakfast was worth it.

There was no socket near bed so could not charge your phone during night, which it seems strange nowadays. Service for breakfast and dinner is a bit slow. You could wait longer than expected.

Room was big and clean enough. Restaurant and breakfast were nice.
