We liked everything.

Great location. Easy walk into Cockermouth and 9 minute drive way from our daughter's wedding venue at Low Hall. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable; a real home from home.

Didn't really dislike anything! Although, I would advise that the pub across the road was very busy and booking in advance is required, not that that is the fault of this wonderful accommodation!

Coffee machine provided was excellent (and a life saver the day after the wedding!!), rooms were an excellent size as we're the bathroom and shower room. The garden was gorgeous but we weren't able to enjoy it because of the weather! It's proximity to the main road meant access was brilliant both into Cockermouth and to get out further afield! The owners couldn't be friendlier, even coming out on a Friday evening to deal with a leaky radiator!

Couldn't fault it!

Superb cottage, luxurious and large - we really appreciated the space and all the amenities we could ask for; a great place to relax and right on the doorstep of Cockermouth and the Lakes. We'll definitely be back!

Plenty of space, all necessary amenities and some thoughtful extras, like a bag of chargers in case someone forgot theirs. Clean and tidy.

Very spacious and well equipped property with three double bedrooms and one single bedroom, two bathrooms upstairs, one toilet downstairs, a sitting room for book readers who crave a quiet room to read and a huge living room (yet cosy) with fireplace, TV and some classic family games. The garden was big enough for the kids to run around and there was a seating area to the side which, on a sunny day, would be a nice place to sit in the evening. Had everything to meet our holiday needs. Lots of books on the area, cupboards filled with essentials and in the morning was very grateful for the coffee machine. The washing machine came in handy with two small children who love mud. Also close to lots of lovely child friendly walks, a nice town centre (which the owner was good enough to provide a parking card for) and the owner was lovely.

The property is very large. We were 5 friends and we had so much space. The garden is fantastic and we used the BBQ every day. The facilities are amazing, they have literally everything you could need to make the stay comfortable. We loved our stay here.

We stayed for 5 nights with kids and this house has everything you need , Jane maintaining the house very beautiful and is very support . One of the best holiday property with all amenities .Parking in front of house and 4 bed rooms and 2 living rooms..

Jane has this setup really off to a tee. Exceptional arrangements, absolutely nothing is not thought of, an absolutely stunning home from home in an exceptional location. If you want to stay in the beautiful Lake District then make this the place to stay - you will not get better value, quality or comfort.

The kitchen was really well stocked with coffee machine, dishwasher and all the pots pans and crockery your may need. The host was very friendly and went out of her way to make sure we were happy with everything.

There was nothing not to like about our stay at Belle Vue it was perfect!

We loved everything about our stay at Belle Vue. More than met our expectations. Jane met us at the house on arrival and let us in. The house felt so comfortable and cozy from the second we stepped through the door, we we're very impressed with the extensive range of amenities provided. The location had a quite village feel which was peaceful and is great for discovering The Lakes. The large gardens are well maintained and great for a peaceful relax in the sunshine or outside entertaining. Lovely spacious bedrooms, beds comfy, lovely bath/shower rooms, large spacious family farmhouse style kitchen with everything to hand you can think of. Local friendly pub across the road which was really handy (no noise atall) serving fabulous food & drinks, a great menu and they aren't shy with the portions! We all throroughly enjoyed our weekend stay and would like to thank the lovely host Jane, we'll definately be booking again.
