One of the rooms had only the ceiling light working and the tv remote was broken, but we could live with that. What we didn't like was one of the rooms had curtains that you could see inside from the outside.

The staff was friendly and helpfull. The beds were clean and confortable as were the bathrooms.

The room was very basic,. The blind on the window could not be moved up or down as the pully cord was missing. There were no plugs for the bath or sink which made having a wash difficult. Although there was a tiny shower gel there were no liquid hand soaps in bathroom, no heating in bathroom and bathroom door could not be closed fully. General state of hotel in poor condition. Perhaps this reflected the low price of rooms.

We thought the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the heater worked well and the water was hot. The TV and WIFI worked well. The two members of staff that we saw were friendly & chatty.

GDPR means nothing. Friends I was meeting asked at reception if I’d already checked in, they were told yes then given my room number. Generally this was fine as they are genuinely my friends, however what if they weren’t and had malicious intent, or were an abusive partner I was escaping? Not great. Inconsistencies from room to room. My room was extremely basic but fine for what I paid whereas friends paid the same price and room was carpeted and generally looked a higher quality. They may be in the process of upgrading all rooms, I’m unsure.

Location was ideal, easy to find, plenty of parking. Bed was comfortable. Gentleman who checked me in was really polite.

No smoking signs up everywhere, have to sign to say you have to pay £200 if smoking in rooms, yet the reception stunk of smoke. The restarurant / bar was guarded by a huge barking XL Bully jumpingup at the window. Outside of the rooms the smell of weed was strong. The rooms were in need of a lick of paint. But you get what you pay for and only needed somewhere quick and easy to get some kip

Close to a McDonalds, Subway and Greggs. Short drive to NEC where we needed to be the next morning

No restaurant as far as I’m aware. It was advertised but wasn’t available? Noisy road kept me awake and the place Looked delapidated. Seemed a bit seedy. I didn’t feel safe. Although the male receptionist with shiny gold teeth and scary looking dog in window said call me if you need help.

Bed was broken, power went out multiple times. Heater in room didn’t work! Low level of cleaning done. Found lighters laying around room floor not properly hovered etc

It was run down, very run down. The lights above the bed didn’t work. The shower head was in bad condition and shot water out in random directions. There was a hair clip on the floor in the bathroom (not mine). The reception had an ashtray behind the counter with ends in it show someone behind the desk had clearly smoking in there place of work.

Not a lot to be honest. It was run down. When I pulled in to the car park I was greeted with what looked to be 2-3 scrapped vehicles including a ice cream van. The picture on booking.com is wildly different to the one you are greeted with on arrival.

The outside was grubby, and access to the room via stairway was run down. The reception building had old mattresses dumped outside the left side of the building.

The bed and tv were OK. The bathroom had necessary accessories.

Poor maintenance overall incl. fixtures & fittings, door lock not working from outside with keycard so although inconvenient, needed duty mngr. that was happy to open every time. Individual electric heating needed a few hours to warm up room

Clean presentable, but did have very clean linen and large bed and toiletries sufficient. Motel easy to find and reception upon until late and were helpful (as needed to be)

The blinds!!. This hotel has outdoor corridors, so the room windows are beside the room door. You walk in front of other people's rooms to get to your room. But the blinds are vertical and in bad condition in many rooms so that people can see into your room. No privacy! It is such an easy and inexpensive thing to solve. The WiFi is too poor and unusable.

The bed was comfortable, and the room was in good condition, it was good value for the money, no problems with parking and you could drop your key in the box in the morning.

There was hairs all over the white bedding and I ain’t talking small ones. Staines all over the walls. Bathroom full of rust. No free Wi-Fi like said on description. Over all just wasn’t impressed. Hygiene was not up to scratch. 3 pillows between us for 2 people? One roll of toilet roll? Just no attention to detail.

Location is accessible, perfect stopover for long journeys with free parking and not far from fast food/takeaways.

Housekeeping services were very poor. The room only got cleaned on the arrival day yet we stayed for many nights. The restaurant was under renovation so getting food was a bit of a hustle. There was no breakfast provided.

The staff were polite. The place was quiet and very relaxed.
