With it being an old manor, the corridors were narrow with low headroom, but thats to be expected. Can't fault it at all

I just can't fault it!

Attention from the hosts was brilliant! We had an initial tour upon arrival, and anything we needed, they were there to help us. The decoration and atmosphere of the place was very unexpected and amazing! It was friendly, tasteful and welcoming. The manor was quiet during our stay, so we were able to enjoy it almost for ourselves, including a long chat on the sofa after the cream tea and the swimming pool. Emma, the spa consultant, was just brilliant! Had an amazing 60 minute massage, and could have stayed for much longer! The attention to detail was amazing. Homemade cookies waiting for us in the room, and a bag with muffins for our journey back. Breakfast was just perfect. With a buffet and freshly cooked hot food to chose from, it was was an experience in itself.

All the little extra touches…….warm chocolate chip cookies on arrival, freshly baked muffins delivered to the room each morning, shortbread cookies on check out. The food was inventive, delicious and beautifully presented.

Beautiful room with large comfortable bed and lovely furniture. Cookies waiting in room on arrival and treats left on door each morning were all delicious. Great tea and coffee facilities with a silent fridge and real milk. Breakfasts and evening meals were delicious. Great hosts.

Unfortunately the only thing is that the bath in our room was suppose to be a Jacuzzi bath and that didn't work, other than that we had an amazing time and will definitely be coming back

Quaint, well presented Manor House. Rooms lovely & well equipped. Food homemade and the hit breakfast cooked to order. Pool was clean, warm & easily accessible. Will definitely make a return visit. Highly recommended

We stayed in Dorothy suite apart from the dripping from skylight in the bathroom everything else was perfect.

We had a lovely peaceful well earned break,comfy bed, staff are so friendlyand made us feel very welcome, swimming pool great.breakfast was perfect,we didn't have dinner so cannot comment on that.

The mattress and pillows were a bit soft for our personal taste, but still comfortable. The whirlpool bath was nice and deep, unfortunately the jacuzzi part didn't work, not a problem though.

The room was very nice, it was large and well furnished. Very quiet. As you entered the room door, the lovely bathroom was through a door to the right, through a door to the left was the large bedroom area. The furnishings were great, very historic looking, and pleasant to look at. Also in the room we're tea making facilities and a pod coffee machine. A small fridge was also very welcome for the milk etc. The owner greeted us in wonderful fashion upon arrival, and gave us a tour of the Manor. It is an historical building, which I loved, I got lost a couple of times. Muffins are placed on a hook on the room door at 07.30 each day, very nice they were too. A lovely massage was had by my better half, in the spa.
