Internet only available in sitting area of main lounge, dark entrance, budget hotel, no signs in the lodge had to go hunting for my room

Staff were all lazy. Waiting average 30 mins to get served at the bar . Room door broke handles hanging off .wood broke . Manager offered me a screw driver so I could fix it. Breakfast stops serving at 9.15 so staff can get cleared up for 10. ( were on holiday , we want a lie in. Carpark needs a groundsman to sweep it and cut hedges..

We arranged the British karate tornament . The weight in and party was at the hotel.

Well, although the price isn't ridiculous, you're getting the bare minimum. You get what u pay for. Everything additional that is usually included in better hotels comes at a cost. Breakfast u must pay for, even wifi you pay for. I feel like there's jammer blocking my mobile internet plan , forcing me to pay for the hotel wifi . U might as well pay more at a premium hotel. It's close to the airport but its also close to the main highways and if u need to leave, u can't just walk or get eslz accest to trains or buses because it's too far from shopping and all that. Kind of in the middle of nowhere. Breakfast is only till 9.15. I've been to places where it's up till 11. In the end, I think it's designed for an overnight who needs to head back to the airport, or just somewhere to stay until u find something better.

The rooms are clean, it's nice, cozy everything works I guess. U dont have to pay right away, u can pay when u get to the hotel. . Its close enough to gatwick airport , so the taxi doesn't cost that much. The price wasn't ridiculous even though it's close to the airport There are options for parking at a cost.

It was extremely difficult to find a parking space as it appeared a little overbooked on the parking front. The Hotel offered a carvery meal but alas it was more like school dinners, watery soup, overcooked gammon or chicken, soggy veg. Worst was the Wine bought at the bar, dreadful cheap wine with a premium price tag.

Hotel is located just 10 minutes from Gatwick and offers stay and park whilst away. Rooms were adequate and clean, everything worked

no free wifi in room and also no phone reception. The TV was tiny.

Its fairly basic. Bar was closed at like 11pm. no wifi in room, only in the reception/bar area otherwise you have to pay for it, quite pricey! Didnt use swimming pool or anything. Breakfast ok, quite basic.

Everything seems to be worn and old, there's a musty smell in the corridors and room. Mattress of poor quality, cheap washing products, TV remote didn't work. The noise of the road was coming through closed windows.

The staff seemed pretty rude. The parking situation was atrocious: not dedicated parking spaces. After driving around the 'car park' I asked to the lady at the reception to advise where can we park as it was impossible to find a parking space (cars were parked everywhere, not only within the handful of dedicated parking spaces but also on the verge, on the grass), I was told that there were plenty of parking spaces available. The room could do with a deep clean as there were spider webs reaching from the ceiling almost to the bedside lamp.

The mattress was firm and the bedding was clean.

Was able to get a very last minute booking for 5 rooms. Friendly helpful staff even late in the evening.

Hotel messed up my booking and blamed booking.com Charged me extra for one of my 2 rooms, Requested a vat invoice was told it had to be collected in the morning and reception was 24 hour turns out reception was closed till 4 am we had to leave before then for an early flight Staff just don’t care dismissive poor management

Seemed understaffed when I was there. The place seems a bit tired but then it is an airport hotel.

Great location for Gatwick. Bed was comfy enough. The shower was hot. Reception staff were nice. Garden was quite relaxing in the summer heat.

Parking was difficult. I understand the hotel has a stay and park system where cars can be parked whilst guest s fly from airport. These cars should be put in a separate area. Self service breakfast OK but dishes only warm not hot
