Hard to get service in the bar during the day, wifi very spotty. Some staff had no interest in you as a guest at all. Phone in room didn't work (mentioned to guest services and nothinhg was done)

bed was comfortable, shower was great, location was ideal for where we needed to go and the staff were very friendly. Nothing to shout home about, but it was exactly as you'd expect. Good little hotel which was really convenient for our one night stay.

Bar prices was very expensive and it didn't help when we brought the same order of drinks at the same bar the the price had gone up!

Food was lovely the buffet breakfast was excellent fresh and hot. Room was clean however, stains on the one wall due to tea and coffee being spilt to many times. The bathroom was a nice size, the shower was wonderful best shower I have ever had in a hotel. The staff I met were lovely and very helpful

Bathroom was clean and newly decorated, but shower leaking a lot from fitting when we used it and bathroom sink took while to drain on its own, had to try and hold plug up ourselves to drain properly.

Location perfect for our visit. Rooms and reception areas spacious and clean. Roms newly decorated.

Bed was good, room was clean and tidy, we were missing silly things like biscuits, extra pillows and spoons for the cuppa in the morning but apart from that, all good.

No electric for an hour - no welcome pack (unable to work Television correctly). Cost of breakfast was not good value. Travelling with baggage to the room was an ordeal (signposting was not good?)

The outside is really tired looking - it was like walking into an entirely different world when we walked inside as the inside was fabulous! The pool area I assume has yet to be renovated.

The property has recently been renovated inside - the rooms were bright and colourful and modern as was the dining areas and the bar. It was very comfortable with lots of areas to sit and chill, various tvs and also lots of board games. It was lovely ! Food was very good too and not too pricey.

Outside looks dated - windows are so rotted and it’s the first thing you see when you park in the car park. Directions to our room were not well signposted - having to walk through 2 fire doors without any signs.

The sink leaked and filled immediately. The shower did the same in the morning. The bathroom was so small you couldn't even hang your towel.

The room was very small but the bed was comfortable. The evening meal was excellent.

The room was very spacious with a lot of amenities. Maybe a bottle of water by the Tea Making facilities would also be a nice touch.

Not much to dislike, we were made aware of and apologies were made about the renovations that were being done but this did not impact on our stay. I am sorry to have not brought my swimming costume to be able to use the facilities.

A comfortable place to stay with friendly and helpful staff. Accommodating our dog too. Relaxing areas in which to sit of an evening. Restaurant providing a great breakfast selection in our case included in the price.

The welcoming atmosphere made our stay enjoyable, and the double room provided plenty of space for us. Both dinner and breakfast were satisfying. We also had the chance to relax by visiting the spa twice, where it was quiet and incredibly relaxing.

Cost of the restaurant was too high. missing a spoon I room to make tea, only 1 biscuit to share between my Mrs and me, website displayed that the pool was not open but it was.

Our room did not smell nice at all. The room was cold the windows didn’t shut properly as they were old. We did use the heater but it was small for that big room.

Poor view out of my window of the rear car park and bins , the hotel was under refurbishment so lack of facilities was understandable

Dinner if you order from the room you get a free drink, if you go down to the restaurant you don’t get the free drink. Misleading information better make it more clearly
