Unappealing exterior to the cottage and overgrown garden Canal was adjacent to a very busy A road with thundering lorries at all hours

Comfortable warm room, bed fine, large shower room, nice decor, tea and coffee Good parking Lovely nearby village with pubs and loved Barton Marina which has cafes and restaurants and a pleasant place to visit

For me personally, Nothing.

Perfectly situated nearby the canal. Seperate Annex on the side of a house, free parking, Large bed, a table to eat at, Kettle with Tea coffee sugar,milk. large bathroom with shower sink and toilet. Perfect hosts with info to the nearest pub, a good 10 min walk if you are a slow walker, some small shops nearby, take away, and a marina nearby, which I did not visit.

The cottage was part of a larger property that appeared to be derelict. The large canal side garden was untended and overgrown. Garden furniture and pathway had not been cleaned. There was no advice on local amenities or maps.

The cottage was as described. It was well located. A short walk to the canal marina, restaurants, and shops.

Road noise bit of a distraction but couldn't be heard once door was shut

Close to the canal, private accommodation. Ideal to use as a base. Any problems owners were quick to sort out . Woke one morning to find three white hens strutting around the back lawn. Lovely marina just down the road with pub, shops and plenty of walks

The only thing was that the room smelled a little damp however, it's an old room and it didn't really affect our stay at all. Other than this there wasn't anything I could complain about.

Comfy bed, huge bathroom, tea and coffee facilities were great, The location was great with a nearby marina/docks with bars, restaurants and even a cinema. Was a perfect little stop over the night before heading to a festival for the day.Good communication from the owners as to the access to the property.

As a non-driver, if you need a taxi you need to make sure you book in advance as taxi services in the area seem to be scarce. If you drive, you have plenty of space to park in the property, though.

Very nice, quiet area. The room was clean and super comfortable with tea and coffee available. Bathroom was spacious and clean. This is a nice cottage for a couple of days visiting attractions in the area. The hosts were super good at communicating and were available when we needed some help. Thank you very much.

Outside the property looked derelict. Table and chairs were filthy (shame as it was a beautiful weekend). Nothing like the pics. No one in the house, it looked abandoned. Road traffic quite bad. Couldn't see the canal due to the overgrown grass in the garden. Very disappointed.

Room was clean and bed was exceptionally comfortable. Bathroom was large and very smart. A deer came and visited us. Perfect location for Arboretum.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Lovely spacious room with a large comfy bed. Spotlessly clean. A nice relaxing atmosphere about it, with "warm" decor. Nice big bathroom with shower. There is a small table and two chairs in the room, which is useful. The cottage is at the end of a lane,with a very large garden right next to the canal. Great, if you like to go walking, or just like to be near water. I messaged the hosts with a couple of questions and received a response immediately.. This is a great place to stay, i loved it.

As above also had to pay an additional £ 117 to get another hotel absolutely disgusting service and not a word of apology or a penny in compensation I can assure you that I won't be using booking. Com again
