No tv, didn’t bother us too much tho as we were out a lot, we did play games & that but nice to switch off infront of the tv sometimes too. Little tlc needed in the kitchen, ceiling paper coming away & obvious signs of removed pics etc, but it has tons of potential & l reckon the owners will deffo get there 😃

Beautiful location, lovely cottage, thoughtful amenities, great potential. Amazing picture window!

Kendal is a friendly town with lots of walking opportunities etc. and we had a super time.

The house renovations are a work in progress with a few odds and ends still to be completed but the work already done is very clean and welcoming. The wet room completed by the previous owners is a bonus. A family with children might expect a television but was fine for us on our short stay.

Loved the view from the front windows. A super location and very easy to walk into the town on traffic free footpaths. Very comfortable mattress on bed so helped us to sleep despite being a very hot spell. Our host was very welcoming when I spoke to him and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We would be happy to stay again and enjoyed the shopping opportunities and the chance to try out some new micro pubs and eating places in Kendal. Great to have the railway / bus station to get around if you want to travel further.

‘Home from Home’ Better than staying in a hotel which I have done many times visiting Kendal / The Lakes. Would stay again subject to availability etc. Bathroom was clean and nice walk in shower . Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay.

it could of been very good but without blinds or curtains our sleep was badly affected.

there were no curtains or blinds in the master bedroom which made it impossible to sleep past 4.30 am when the sun comes up. the living room also did not have curtains or blinds which meant at sunset the room was difficult to use. New linen would go a long way in making the beds more comfortable. The house is good it just needs some details to be finished off (recent renovation) and provided with better linen and curtains/blinds.

The location is really good and it has a convenience store across the street which is very handy. It is a lovely 10-minute walk into town through the park and past the picturesque cemetery The home has a beautiful view of the 12-century castle ruin which is very nice. We visited on motorcycles and the carport/off-street parking was perfect.
