This property was just perfect. The owner has paid attention to every detail. It felt like home. Was just beautiful. So much love in this home. We were at a conference in Harrogate so was out all day till late but retuning to this house was perfect. Beds were super comfortable.

Nothing at all! The bulb in the fridge has gone out but that is the only thing I can mention and I’m sure it will be replaced as everything is in fantastic condition!

Quaint property in a perfect location, the decor was beautiful, very modern and tasteful but fitting to a cottage style! Across the road from a little shop and country pub. Very clean and comfortable home with everything you could possibly need for a stay! Board games were a great touch and my daughter loved this! Thank you again. Lovely host!

The weather

Located in a quiet cul de sac, with a bistro, pub and shops within approximately 100 yards from the house. The owner sent information on local facilities. Spofforth Castle is also within walking distance. The beds were so comfortable. Toiletries, coffee, tea and even milk were supplied as were dog treats which even though we did not have a dog with us showed that the owner aimed to provide everything a guest could need.

Beautifully decorated cottage with 3 lovely bedrooms. Check in was really easy with loads on information from the host. Directly opposite the pub which serves great food. Close to Harrogate.

I can't pick a fault with the property at all. All I would say is try bring all your food and drink with you as the convenience store over the road is quite pricey, but that is probably to be expected in a village store.

Had everything you needed for a pleasant stay, also the village is lovely and within easy reach of Harrogate and Wetherby. We went to a wedding at Wharfedale Grange which was 10 minutes down the road so this place was ideal for a nearby place to stay for the weekend.

The only negative was a bit of traffic noise and pub ‘chuck out time noise’ on the first night. There was five of us and only 4 dining chairs so we had to use the vanity stool from the bedroom, not a problem for us but an extra chair might be a good idea.

Location great. Parking great. Really comfortable beds and sofas. House was clean and nicely decorated/furnished. All rooms were a good size. Toiletries were a nice touch. Immediate response from the host when we had trouble with the key safe which was very much appreciated.

Fabulous- all amenities to a high quality and many extra touches throughout. Has been renovated to a very high standard and the location is terrific, very close to a great pub/restaurant and Post-Office/convenience store. Great dog walking around and easy access to drive into Harrogate. Nice cul de sac with a good parking space.

I didn't realise how busy the road was & that it was literally right outside the back gate. That's on me, though. I did look on Google Earth at the area, but I just didn't realise the road was so arterial with buses, tractors, so many cars & motorbikes going for lovely ride outs. It was loud with traffic starting with daylight & made it unenjoyable to be in the garden, but it did mean we were in eye sight of Londis, which was great. We couldn't sleep with the window open either due to the traffic noise disturbing the baby. We did have white noise on LOUD & made use of the lovely fan provided. We also brought 2 more fans because it was the hottest day of the year that weekend! If it had been cooler, the window wouldn't have been an issue. It's not a criticism at all, but honest feedback. The pictures & advert of the house is accurate, I wouldn't change that.

Exactly as described. Extremely high spec finishing. It was the Simple Human shower dispenser that sealed us booking, we have one too, the instructions on how to use them had me howling. The house had been very carefully curated & we appreciated the attention to detail everywhere. The sofas were comfy. Plenty of lighting options. We super appreciated a garden with no grass. The amenities were excellent, what we needed. Proximity to shops, a park to take the children, everything was brilliant. Everything worked as expected. How perfect the house is made our stay easier. Thank you!
