Not sure why on arrival they insist on taking a photocopy of photo ID. Don’t want to be giving my driving license number or passport number along with my DOB to a hotel. Never come across this with any other hotel.

The hotel just what we wanted a clean room and shower to use and free parking. The fridge and microwave was very Handy. The hotel does need Updating. We were happy and the staff very helpful.

The mirror is placed too high up the wall so it's impossible to see into it. Extremely rusty metal brackets on the glass shelf in bathroom Bathroom door has no lock and difficult to keep closed (Room 18)

The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work, which meant the room got hot very quickly if using the shower. Could hear everything happening in the corridor or in the room above ours. We did also have someone try to let themselves into our room at about 3am which was alarming, but more than likely just a confused guest.

They included a fridge, microwave and tea/coffee making facilities which was nice. The staff when checking in late were friendly and helpful. The room and en suite bathroom were very clean. It was close to shops and restaurants, but not on a busy street itself, and only a quick taxi ride from the train station.

My stay was mixed. The room I was originally allocated was on the ground floor and next door to a restaurant. The smell in the room did not agree with me. The staff were excellent. They responded immediately to messages and I was given a different room for my second night which was fine.

This was a room only budget hotel so no facilities for meals. However there was a microwave and plates/cutlery in the room.

The beds were not comfortable. Badly needing replaced as they sagged a bit. Pillows were thin. If that could be improved then this review would have been excellent.

No cold water, cold water tap only supplied warm water. Tap too short to easily fill the kettle. Booked a double room, the room was equipped with a queen sized bed which isn't ideal for sleeping two people. All round not worth what I paid personally.

Good location, right in the centre of town. Staff were nice. Fridge and microwave are a nice bonus over a lot of other hotels.

86 year old on top floor with 40 steps. 10 o clock checkout too early . Woken at 0109 with text message reminding me of checkout time..

Uncomfortable bed, sagged in the middle. . Shower was overhead so couldn't avoid getting hair wet.

Fridge for milk and crockery. Having read trip advisor after booking I was very concerned but it was clean and ok for a couple of nights. Managed to park in the small car park all the time.

I requested a lower level room which we were given ,the bed was very low i had to struggle to get out of the bed Due to it being against the wall, when my husband was asleep, the room smelt damp no where to sit in the room apart from the bed the only window that opened was the bathroom window , the fan did not work in the bathroom, people coming & leaving at the carpark entrance were noisy at times .

Walking distance to the town plenty of shops , restaurants at different price range , cafes, & coffee stops , parks .were very well kept. buses were very frequent .we visited Gloucester quays, which we were in Cheltenham £3 each way per person .
