Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNo complaints at all.Everything was wonderful . Didn't like saying goodbye! I will be back very soon.
Kay was very kind, helpful and thoughtful. She gave me a warm welcome. The pod was tastefully kitted out and was cosy and clean and comfortable and Kay had thought of everything which I might need, including lots of helpful information about the local area.Kay's own property is close by. Hot shower, comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen.Fire pit for outdoor cooking.Mini fridge( with ice box) and microwave as well as small double hob and toaster. It is set in the most beautiful, peaceful setting and I could hear the cuckoo and watch the birds. I also saw a hare. There are lots of wonderful local walks and it is a lovely area to explore. I saw fish swimming in the river and the stars shone so brightly in the huge sky at night.

Kay was an excellent host. Very helpful and hospitable. Nothing was to much trouble. Had to leave early due to health reasons, but Kay has invited us back at another time.

United KingdomThe only thing that we would change would be the roller blind on the window, to add curtains as well - the roller blind lets in a lot of light down the sides from about 5am (which is fine if you are an early morning person, we just arent! 😄) Other than that there isn't really anything to complain about!
Beautiful location in the middle of hills and fields, the pod is a good size for a couple to stay in. We liked that there is no WiFi, but instead board games to play. Luckily we got nice weather and sat outside, with the fire going to catch up with an old friend from the area. Would absolutely stay again.

NetherlandsNot a complaint but the bed is very firm, so that might be something to take into account when booking. That being said we both slept well and would definitely book here again given the opportunity.
We loved the beautiful views, and sitting on the bench outside the pod in the morning and evening was definitely the highlight of our stay. A big plus for us was also the private ensuite bathroom and small kitchen. Everything was clean and the interior has a new/modern feel. There is also a natural pleasant fresh woody smell in the pod. Big thank you to our host, Kay, for having us!

United KingdomNothing major, but it was a bit nippy: due to time of year of course. We felt dead guilty of putting on the electric heater, but had to as we really don't like the cold
The stay at the pod was very special. Location, the actual pod and communications with the host was just 10/10. We were like home away from home, well thought out pod arrangements, cosy and practical. The kitchenette had everything we needed, including a whistling kettle, box full of board games and loads of ideas where to go what to do whilst visiting, including great recommendation where to get breakfast: all put to a good use. The fact that there was no strong WiFi was my favourite part. Funny fact about the place: on the night in the pod there is absolute silence and complete pitch black darkness - bye bye reality and hello piece and quite. It was break away in a perfect place. Thank you to Kay - we loved it

United KingdomNo WiFi which isnt a problem, but also no signal in the pod - and only available outside around some specific spots :) This isnt necessarily a bad thing, though as we enjoyed time away from technology actually. The bathroom was pretty cold, but again not a huge problem as the shower and water was nice and warm. We liked everything and enjoyed our stay overall very much!
Beautiful quiet rural location, Kay is very helpful, friendly and quick to reply. The pod was very nice, warm, well furnished - maybe would be nice to also have salt/pepper and some oil near the coffee/sugar/tea - just from our experience in other glamping pods, but this is of course not an absolute must. We loved the lighting options in the pod, made the pod homely. There is a really great selection of leaflets to get to know the area better. I also really enjoyed watching a great variety of birds from the Clova pod in the morning :) The local postman is a very friendly guy!

United KingdomThere was nothing that we didn't like, we loved it. We'd guess that you need to be organised to enjoy the "space".
A real surprise. Such a cool design with so much packed into the space available. This is no ordinary camping pod. It is a luxurious pod. The construction has real character, the utilities are designed to fit and the bed is super comfortable. We ate in all three nights that we stayed and the facilities enabled us to do this. Location is as stated - off grid. Winding roads in all directions. The upside is that when you sit outside and eat you can enjoy big skies and lots of birds and there plenty of quiet places to explore on your doorstep. The gardens around the pods are freshly planted and as they mature they will add even more character. A lovely stay.
