Possibly only one thing - it’s in a busy area & it could be a little noisy outside - also heavy front doors in the apartments - but not in excess & it definitely didn’t spoil our stay.

The location was very central. The apartment was really clean & compact - the beds were really comfy which is always a plus. The hosts were very available & friendly. There was also plenty of tourist info available which was handy. We had a lovely stay there.

Shower quite weak. Also not good for people with mobility issues as you have to walk up 2 flights stairs and walk around the front to get to flat - so bit of a trek with cases or, say, a buggy, but not an issue for us. Neither issues are major. Could do with a couple of fans maybe (althought we visited when it was 26⁰c)..

Great location right in centre of Bowness-on-Windermere, fresh/very clean & modern, everything you need for the kitchen. Lots of storage. Nice table & chairs. Modern furniture. Great view. Lots of lamps/mirrors/electricity points. Two nice bedrooms. Big telly. Own parking space. Lovely hosts came right over to rectify a minor issue straight away.

Stairs are a little steep upon entering the property.

Heated towel rail in the spacious bathroom was great for drying the towels and warmed the room up just right. Everything was at hand in the apartment from a hairdryer to washing up liquid and so on. There's everything a family/couple could use if staying for a while such as a washing machine, cooking equipment and a dining table. It's basically a home from home. The location is great with everything on your doorstep such as restaurants, cafes, bars, gift shops and a couple of mini supermarkets. though it is still fairly peaceful, at night all we heard was occasional traffic passing by. The Lake is a 5 minute stroll down the road and there is a bus stop there . There's a regular service that runs through all the major spots such as Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere and Keswick so you could park up your car for the duration of your stay and travel around easily. We parked ours behind the apartment in a free space.

Be warned the apartment is on level 4 and there is no lift. If bringing suitcases, you need to park out the back then wheel your cases through car park to front of the shops, then up the 4 flights.

Excellent location above Quarry Rigg shops. Free car park available out the back. Very spacious apartment, washing machine was a welcome bonus.

The location was fantastic and was spacious. check in and out was super easy and great communication from the hosts.

Double bed is a bit small for 2 persons.

The location is great. Closed to variety of shops. Coop, gift shops, restaurants, clothes shops. About 10 minutes walk to Lake Windermere.. The view from the room also is great, you can see part of the lake from the window. Parking is easy, except for the first time you have to read a lengthy descriptions on how to park your car, but after that it is easy to access the parking.

There were more steps that i was expecting and it was quite a way to carry bags from the car park, but the location was brilliant for shops, cafes and the lake.

Can't think of anything. Owners had anticipated all our needs. Apartment was clean, well-equipped, washer worked great and they'd provide hanging racks for our laundry. I would stay there again.

Nice to have the two bedrooms, well equipped bath and kitchen, space for all three of us to stay. Key code didn't work and owner rushed right over to let us in and then went to the train station to retrieve a missing bag. Above and beyond the call of duty.
