The television didn’t work in the room. Was moved rooms to find the kettle didn’t work in that one. Room was VERY basic! Literally just had what you needed. Car parking is expensive would be nice for it to be included in the price as we had two cars. We were moved swiftly though and we were happy overall with the friendliness.

The gentleman who checked me in was lovely. Really welcoming and friendly.

Although the room was very good I struggled to get to sleep because of the noise which I presume was people just moving around. I think they may have been wooden floors which were creaking .I found it very difficult to get to sleep .Also in the morning I wanted to watch TV but the reception was bad and was unwatchable which was disappointing

Noisy occupants next door!!!

Location is perfect for many things. Basically your staying at the Building Society Arena for any events going on. Casino bars and restaurants too or next to it. Ideal motorway network M6. City centre a short ride away.

The wet room was a little tired looking & the bed & cushions too soft for me. No biscuits & little amounts of hot drink sachets.

The bed was rock hard. Didn't replenish our tea, milk, etc, on night two. There is no where to put wash bags in the bathroom.

Great location, staff lovely. Clean towels for 2nd day. Breakfast was really good.

There was a half empty bottle of drink left on the wardrobe. Some bottles in the shower are empty (hair conditioner)

Despite paying £20 for two cars we still received a ANPR fine for a car in our party staying in the car park

the basin plug was stuck in the sink the bath plug was easily knocked out there was a lot of marks on the walls and skirting mould around bath and on skirting by bath bath was quite short unable to open window

the bed and bedding were so comfortable breakfast was lovely the check in staff were very helpful and friendly the cookie was scrummy really nice shampoo and shower gel view of the football pitch goal from bedroom

Pillows were too soft. No food offered from room service late in the evening.

Warm cookie on arrival was a nice touch. Hotel location was great as next to the venue we were attending. Room was upgraded to a pitch side view which was nice. Great breakfast, lots of choice

TV in our first room wasn't working. Staff sorted another room for us. Food choice in the bar not as good as before.

There were a large number of dog staying in the property and when we left the room to go to breakfast one of these dog had weed up the door, which had leaked under it and into the room. (I know that this is not the fault of the hotel).

Minor attention to detail would have made this stay exceptional. Our shower gel bottle was empty in the bathroom which was disappointing. We also booked as a family of four but were only provided with two big bath towels. I’m sure upon asking the staff this would have been rectified but we didn’t do this and just managed without.

Friendly / helpful staff & nice sized rooms. Breakfast buffet was lovely, lots of choice from hot food to continental options. Staff in the breakfast room were very attentive and helpful, especially around a young baby.
