Upon arrival,we were met by Phil who showed us around. The accommodation was spot on with lovely views over the massive garden.The bungalow had everything you could ever need and everything was spotlessly clean.there were also some nice treats for us and our little dog

An amazing detached space with the most beautiful and massive garden-the views are incredible! It’s quiet, but still in easy reach to the beaches. Very clean, spacious and bright. A welcoming place, ideal to relax.

Perhaps some instructions for using the appliances would be useful.

The location was excellent (although you could hear the A39 from the garden at busy times) , with fantastic views towards the coast across the beautiful big, dog friendly garden. The bungalow was very well appointed and clean and comfortable with easy access. We liked being able to walk to the pub next door for a delicious meal in the evenings. The owner quickly came to our rescue when we managed to trip the electrics!

Nothing to improve

A perfect little property, the garden and views from them were a highlight for us and our dogs. Plus the added extra of an outside hose to wash off the dog etc. after a day at the beach. Although it is only a small property the space has been well utilised. The bedroom space was beautiful and very spacious. A welcome package of milk and scones were greatly received :) We loved it so much we can't wait to book again.

We would have liked a rug on the bedroom floor which was fairly cold at beginning of May, and a bit more cutlery and crockery in the kitchen, to avoid running te dishwasher so often.

Good location for getting both ways along the North coast and not difficult to go to the other coast. It was also a very short walk to a pub with good food. We liked the space and the large garden with a good range of trees. The kitchen is very well equipped and with plenty of cupboard space for our own food.

A beautiful, well equipped cottage finished to the highest specification and situated in an ideal location for exploring what Cornwall has to offer. The garden was stunning, with views over beautiful countryside and the sea in the distance. Nicky & Phil were the perfect hosts, providing tea, coffee, sugar & milk for the all-important hot drink upon arrival. But also provided scones, jam, cream and apple juice. Such a lovely welcoming thought. They also gave us some recommendations on places to visit, walks (a lovely walk down the lane from the cottage) and Phil recommended the pub next door and the brisket of beef. One of the best meals my wife and I have had in a while. Words simply do not do Halfway Cottage justice. I would highly recommend the cottage to anyone. Thank you Nicky & Phil for such a wonderful stay, we will definitely be returning.

The lounge/dining area was behind the raised kitchen breakfast bar which totally obscured views of the garden. Areas need reversing to make the most of the lovely views. No hooks on the back of doors to hang coats/dog leads etc. Needs a boot room that is accessed from outside to take off wet boots and dry off dogs and store wet things.

Nothing about the property, just the wet weather!

Huge beautifully maintained garden, great for dogs. Very nice cream tea, milk and apple juice left for us on arrival, thank you. Bowls, towels, throws provided for dogs much appreciated especially as we had some heavy rain. Hosts very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Would recommend and hope to return next year.

The position is closed to Wadebridge, and beaches of Rock, Padstow, Trevone and Harlyn beach. The facility is brand new, spotless with a big garden for your dog. The house is big an you will. Never have problem with space and you have all you need to enjoy your holiday. Owners are fantastic and the welcome for us and our dog has been great. The rock beach has some restaurant you can enjoy and the position of the house gives you the opportunity to go in several places just in 20/30 min by car. Everything was fabulous.

Absolutely beautiful home with stunning views to wake up to! Great decor and amenities within the property. Fantastic communication from the hosts with my queries ahead of our stay and whilst we were there. It was a shame we didn't get to enjoy the property as much as we would've liked due to working at a local convention but the time we did spend there was amazing. We would love to return again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming detached property I rented through Booking, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was struck by the beautiful decor that made the place feel like a home away from home. It was not only spacious and well-laid out but also equipped with top-of-the-line appliances. Whether enjoying my morning coffee or preparing a meal, everything I needed was right at my fingertips. The kitchen's modern conveniences and high-quality tools made cooking an absolute pleasure. One of my favourite parts of the property was the wonderful garden. It was a serene oasis where I could relax with a book, enjoy a meal outside, or soak up the beauty of the surroundings. The garden was beautifully maintained and offered a peaceful retreat, and my furbaby just loved it. The bedroom was another highlight, featuring a fantastic view that made waking up each morning a delight. Speaking of exploring, the property's location was perfect for discovering the area. It was in a great spot that allowed easy access to local attractions, scenic walks, and delightful eateries. Everything was conveniently close by whether I wanted to explore the countryside or visit nearby towns. Overall, my stay at this beautifully decorated detached property was fantastic. The comfortable and well-equipped kitchen, the wonderful garden, the bedroom with its fantastic view, and the excellent location made it a truly memorable experience. I can't recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning in the future.
