Lovely single room, tastefully decorated and displaying Adam's excellent carpentry skills. Extremely clean with everything you need including microwave, fridge and crockery, glasses, cutlery, tea, coffee, sugar. Lovely toiletries and fresh towels. The bed was really comfortable and I had the best nights' sleep in a long time! There was a table and chair and ample storage for all your belongings. The shower was extremely good and the bathroom was also spotless and well thought out. Ellerhow is situated in a very quiet road, within easy reach of the Town Centre and handy for buses and the train station. Adam is extremely friendly and he and Nicole have made their guesthouse into a beautiful place to stay.

There is nothing Not to like it's a very nice clean place to stay.

Wow my room exceeded all my expectations 10 out of 10 does not do this place justice. There was a microwave, fridge with milk in it plates , knifes ,forks,teetowel, washing up liquid, 2 chairs ,small dining table nice tv and of course tea ,coffee ,cups spoons. When I arrived Adam made me feel very welcome. Glad i booked twice more to stay here.

Bathroom space is always an issue in a single room, however this one was well presented.

It was self contained with everything I needed as a sole traveller. Small but comfortable. Very reasonable price and extremely clean.

Everything was great! Adam is the best host we've ever had. He did everything to make sure we had a nice stay from providing us a bottle of milk to turning on the heating and letting us dry our wet clothes in the drier after a very rainy hiking day and more. The room and bathroom were very beautiful and very clean and had everything we needed. Also the location is great and a good starting point for walks and hikes. We would come back any time and can highly recommend staying at this beautiful place.

The tiny bathroom was a bit challenging but very well appointed.

This property was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. I stayed in the single room and it has everything I could have wished for. The tiny bathroom was a bit challenging for me, so might be tricky for a larger person. However, it was really cozy and extremely good value for money.

Clean, comfy, powerful hot shower, fridge (they even supplied fresh milk) and small kitchen with utensils, kettle and coffee, tea and sugar. Great location, on street free parking and Adam was very welcoming.

The double room was spacious but did have a sloping ceiling.Maybe a problem if you are tall.

There was nothing that we didn't like!

Everything was as described, in compact but very comfortable accommodation. The decor, bed linen and towels were really plush. The shower was great and there were toiletries provided. The host informed us on booking that the bed was slightly smaller than a double but we didn't notice this at all. The bed is tucked into the eaves of the building so when lying on the right hand side you can't sit up fully but there were plenty of cushions to recline restfully when reading.

Awesome experience when , But when arrived at station asked people Bike Business guy were is the property he said to to information centre in Heavy rain for info , Just went to super market next to bike shop a young staff guided me it’s only 15 mins walk down hill , I was tied due to Train strike they brought us to Windermere by bus which was ok, So I called Adam property owner we’re I was starting told him my experience he said don’t worry I will come and pick you great guy bought me Milk ready when I arrived and , I explained I do not eat late take away So Adam kindly brought Fresh Cheese Toest Freshly made Break take was awesome, As I arrived all over the world spoke to large Crowds of Entrepreneurs worldwide and have built Hospital and housing projects for Local counsel , I have huge experience to deal with people at a low point, For that Bike Business Guy I hope he Read a Book Called How to keep Customers and keep them for Life !!!! And How to win Friends and influence By Andrew Carnegie !!!!

Room was compact but had everything one need. Adam did email us to say the double bed was small but I replied it was ok because my wife and I were small. The ablutions were well up to standard. And thank you Adam for the milk you left for us

You can tell Adam(owner) is a first class time served professional carpenter. The finish on the whole apartment was 100% perfect. Location excellent and free parking ( outside accommodation) tremendous bonus .

It is at the top of a steep hill with quite a walk into Bowness so if you are not agile it may cause problems
