Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomWe didn't get twin beds as requested (this had been previously confirmed) and the kitchen area wasn't too clean. Some of the crockery felt dirty, like it had been rinsed and put away. The inside of the cupboards felt also dirty. There was nothing to clean with, apart from a bit of washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets (which is what we had to use the most). Not even a sponge, a cloth or tea towel. Luckily we had packed our own, just in case! The arms of the living room sofa felt loose/broken and the dining table had some marks on.
This is for Elms Way 33 apartment, as we got moved. The decor was nice and fresh, the beds were comfortable and the apartment felt homy. We enjoyed our stay overall.

United KingdomI think this apartment pretty much met my expectations a very slight observation is that the apartment was maybe due for a deep clean and the ceilings above the bath and shower were a bit discoloured, probably due to previous guests not switching on the extractor fans.
Very spacious and comfortable apartment with ample parking, easy to find and close walking distance to the town centre and beach, there is a supermarket close by.

United KingdomNo instructions for anything so left to try and figure out heating, hot water etc. With the result that the heating never went off and we had no hot water. Also no cleaning basics supplied like washing up liquid or even a cloth to wipe down surfaces.

United KingdomThere is a very definite constant smell of drains in the main bathroom, no teabags or sweeteners had been left for us in the holder. Television was fairly small for size of lounge area. Shower cubicle in en-suite needs some attention. Outside door/buzzer entry not secure, just pull to open so needs fixed.

United KingdomFrom staying in other self catering places, I would suggest that having some information leaflets or a folder with helpful information about the area (what to visit, nearest shops) as well as pertinent instructions about the apartment (how to leave the flat ... bedding, towels, etc; how to work the dishwasher, where the tablets were, instructions for the washing machine). Also small things like salt or vegetable oil would have been a helpful thing to have in the cupboard.
Incredibly comfortable beds, well proportioned, having an ensuite shower and a family bathroom were wonderful, clean.

United KingdomThe carpet was grotty and badly stained, so I felt I had to keep my shoes on (didn’t even want to walk on the carpet in my spare socks). The crockery in the cupboard was not only unwashed, it was a mish mash of cheap quality. No teapot. Only one plastic egg cup. The saucepans were disgusting, full of rust and baked on burnt stuff. The tea towel was cheap and non-absorbent, so useless for drying dishes. Only 1 tablet for the dishwasher even though we were staying 2 nights. No toilet roll holder. Not enough chairs - we had to move 2 chairs into the bedrooms so we had somewhere to put our clothes. NO towel rails in the entire flat so impossible to hang them anywhere to dry if you wanted to shower morning and evening. Lastly, the lounge walls are painted a dead grey colour, so it felt cold and unwelcoming and we kept the lights ON in the day to try and counteract the feeling of a prison cell. Just saying .
Good location. Quiet. Close to a fantastic Indian restaurant called 3idiots.

United KingdomWe were moved to a different apartment the before are arriving 22 the double bed were 2 singles push together the carpet were full of stains and wood chipping of the side board in kitchen some bath towels had stains on could open the windows and sofa bed was not set up for as requested because we were getting there at tea time apart from that was a lovely apartment just a couple of things let it down and mold in bathroom and shower room in one of the bedroom

United KingdomThere were a couple of faults on arrival which shouldn't be allowed to happen. One of the toilets and the tumbler dryer were not working. The office staff were unaware of this and leapt into action as best they could but the latter problem persisted throughout our stay.
The back up from the Donnini Apartments staff when things went wrong was very good, they were extremely helpful. The flat itself is very nice, and was very comfortable.
