Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThere was not really anything wrong but just a couple of things to note. Main bedroom window didn't shut or open properly, one table light not working in sitting room and freezer needs defrosting. These were insignificant and did not spoil our stay there.
I love the location, private parking for your car, plenty of cutlery, linen, dishes and pans. Very private with easy access. Very clean. Hope to return again soon for a longer stay.

nice apartment. close to shops. Good sized kitchen. Toilet seat was broken upon our arrival. we reported it and it was replaced the same day.

United KingdomKitchen: Lighting in the kitchen was appalling. Only source was a central pendant that had a 40W bulb in it. Hob extractor light didn't work. Bathroom: Desperately needs modernising and refitting: No two pin point socket to charge razor or toothbrush: Only one-third of a toilet roll left for us to use: Shower fitting was loose and in wrong direction (on long side of bath not over taps): Very little space to put toiletries; Towels were rubbish quality, thin, hard and smallest possible for description. Bedrooms: Two reasonably sized bedrooms but one set of furniture was split between the two - so no drawers / dressing table in main room, no wardrobe in second bedroom. Ridiculous; Mattresses were so hard we had to buy quilts to put on top of them to pad them so we could we could be semi-comfortable. Lounge / Dining Room: Lighting poor; Carpets had stains on: Furniture all looked like it was from a charity shop; Curtain rails and curtains shabby to say the least; The furniture provided was not arranged into a dining and lounge area so TV viewing from the settee position was difficult.
Location good, Accommodation spacious, Useful to have a parking space in town centre. Kitchen reasonably well equipped.
