Nothing we didn't like about our stay at dove meadows.

The host were very welcoming nothing was ,too much trouble had lots,off advise off what to do, where to go the accommodation was beautiful very clean and breakfast was very nice very homely lovely place to visit.

We arrived to Dove Meadow a little later than expected because of train delays. Even before this the host had contacted us to confirm arrival time and if we were wanting breakfast in the morning. Alongside recommending a taxi company to collect us from the station. Staying in the chalet was incredible and super quiet. It has all of the amenities you could want and I can see how a family could spend a few days there. The entire property felt cosy, private and welcoming. It was also quite fun to hear sheep in the morning after traveling in from the city. The breakfast was outstanding, it was clear that all of the items were locally sourced and the host cooked them brilliantly. The additional service which was provided was great and the host went above and beyond to make our trip special. We would stay again for a short break.

We liked everything

We all really enjoyed everything. Hospitable reception, very warm hosts. The guest house is very clean, everything is neat and tidy and smelled nice. Board games, coloring books, TV with Netflix were available for the children. And even made friends with Puppy, a very cool and friendly dog. On the way home, the daughter said that she misses her. The breakfast served was very tasty, everything was fresh and well prepared, pancakes with Nutella and fresh strawberries for the children, orange juice, English breakfast with black coffee for us.

Lovely place, amazing location and the hosts were just awesome. The beds were so comfy and it was all so clean and lovely. The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous and thank you for the pancakes for the girls. Lovely hosts and highly recommend for anyone who might be visiting Alton Towers as it’s literally 10 minutes away.

No issues a great stay!

Fantastic location for Alton Towers. The owners were out when we arrived they were very helpful telling me how to get in and find our room. Breakfast was lovely, fresh coffee and juice. Great to have a fridge in the twin room with water juice and milk, nice touch!

All was great

Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Accommodation was clean, lots of items supplied for making simple dinners. Fluffy towels were lovely! Stayed for 3 nights, and each day it was freshened up for us whilst out. Breakfast was very nice, cooked breakfast and pancakes went down well. Fab location for Alton Towers

Theres nothing not to like.

Dove Meadow is amazing! Perfect and beautiful location to alton towers. Beautiful views of the country side. Very very clean, nothing is too much by the owners John and Emm . Fantastic hosts.!! Great breakfast and got everything u need. So happy we found Dove meadow wouldnt stay anywhere else. Cant wait to go back.

Could not fault it.

We stayed in the Apple Tree Chalet which was perfect for our family of 3. The Chalet had everything you could possibly want and the surroundings were lovely. Breakfast was delicious and delivered to us each morning, a real treat. Owners could not have been more helpful, even dropped us off at the local pub one evening and gave our daughter an Easter Egg. Our daughter loved playing with Poppy, one of the best natured dogs I have ever come across.

I wish I had booked to stay for longer! Just what we wanted for an overnight stay whilst we visited Alton Towers. Literally a 10 minute drive down the road. We felt very much welcomed when we arrived. The accommodation was beautifully clean and warm on arrival. We were shown where everything was that we may need and informed about breakfast which was absolutely BEAUTIFUL may I add. A very very nice touch and the quality of produce was clear. Pancakes went down a storm too! Would absolutely book again!

There was nothing we didn’t like

Beautiful cabin with stunning views and everything we needed. Well presented and lots of nice extra touches that most places don’t think of. Great full English brought to us in the morning (at the time of our choosing!) and the kids LOVED Johns amazing pancakes. Hosts were absolutely incredible-so helpful about local information/places of interest. They were super friendly and went above and beyond in making sure our stay was perfect. We normally stay on site at the Alton Towers hotel but will be booking here from now on as it’s much better value, more personal and sooo quiet. Thank you for such a wonderful weekend. We can’t wait to stay for longer next time!

One of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in . Immaculately clean , very comfortable bed, nice touches like mini fridge and proper milk for tea. WIFI was very good and breakfast was excellent . Location excellent for JCB and Alton towers.

The hosts were lovely and could not do enough for you, so accommodating. The room was lovely and bright and clean and the view from window was exceptional. Beds were comfortable and linen very clean. Location was fine for what we needed. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to family and friends.
