Lovely hotel, clean, comfy, , food great, would totally recommend!

Bar is quite overpriced, £18 for two drinks. Our breakfast service wasn’t amazing as she mixed up the order but food was still very good. The bathroom floor could’ve been a little cleaner but overall had a lovely stay!

The room was lovely and spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful, arranging taxis for us and always at the end of the phone if needed. Even bought our justeat delivery up to our room as we missed the driver.

The on road parking situation is annoying. Parking was very limited so we had to walk quite a way with lots of bags and a small child in tow. We were then in a separate building which wasn’t a problem as it didn’t rain but wouldn’t have been ideal if the weather hadn’t been on side. There was quite a sense of works being done on the hotel and in the area so overall I feel it was an expensive stay.

Our room was absolutely beautiful and the dining room area was lovely too. Good breakfast and all staff we came across were lovely. It’s a good location for the seafront without being on one of the horrible main roads through southsea.

Parking is always a problem but you just need to be patient!

Although we feel this accommodation is slightly overpriced for what you get in the way of size of room, lack of fridge for milk or water and the properties are older buildings, they have been refurbished to a high standard and the staff are always excellent.

I was surprised to find that the hotel is spread over two buildings separated by a road. The receptionist was great in that she waited outside of reception, for my return from extracting my luggage from my car, but then started to walk down the road and round the corner to the other building. I wondered where on earth we were going as I did not recall this in the information at the time of booking. However, as we had not booked breakfast, it really did not matter to us and the room we were allocated met our needs perfectly.

Reception staff were very efficient, polite and helpful. Room was stylish and lovely and clean. Bathroom was modern and fully functional. It appears a well run and quiet hotel.

central location. very good amenities excellent breakfast. also note that if you are Canadian military active or retired you get into dock and ship exhibits for free. that saved us 44 pounds

Lovely little hotel, we booked the king room and was happy with our choice, it was clean and spacious.. the staff were helpful and friendly, enjoyed our breakfast.. was worried about parking the car but parked just up the road on the street and they gave us a permit to put in the car.. little pub just round the corner which was really nice.. overall great stay and would definitely book again!

Almost got locked in the shower. The little knob on inside of door could not be gripped with wet hands. Door opened inward in a frame so couldnt open from side or top. Finally managed from the bottom. A bit scary. Borderline rudeness from morning desk staff when told them about it. No concern at all! Apparently I am the only one who ever had a problem.

Perfect location and price for my birthday weekend away! Staff were so helpful and parking was made super easy with a temporary permit for most of the areas nearby! The room was comfy and cosy and we both slept really well. Breakfast was stunning! Definitely would stay again ☺️

Staff went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Room was very clean and perfect for our needs. Excellent variety on breakfast menu which was served piping hot and very swiftly. Our second visit as first was such a pleasure.

Can't think of anything we didn't like. The main shopping street in Southsea was a bit depressing with of a preponderance of tattoo parlours, barbers and low end junk shops.

Well situated in a quiet street close to the esplanade. Hotel provided us with a parking permit. Hotel is composed of individual adjacent buildings. We had in a room in the building next door to the reception building and had breakfast in our building. Modern largely tasteful decor with occasion patches of quite striking wallpaper. Our 'executive kingsize' - (or somesuch designation) bedroom and bathroom were all comfortable and good. Breakfast provided a good choice. We had our evening meal in the 'Briny' restaurant along the esplanade and thought that a good choice.

Loved the decor of this hotel. The room was extremely good, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom clean and to a high standard.. The location is quiet.
