Fantastic stay. Warm welcome on arrival and the room was exceptionally clean. Huge comfortable bed with quality bedding and towels. Fresh milk in the fridge and filter coffee in the room. Breakfast was huge and cooked to order with quality ingredients. A real belly buster! Free car parking just outside the door.

Such a warming welcome, every time you arrive "home". Very clean and comfortable with everything you need for a lovely stay. Proper milk for a bru was lush and very much appreciated.

The property was easy to find, simple to park, was furnished to a very good quality with excellent food. The hosts were friendly and very knowledgeable about the area.

Nothing!! Which to me shows how good it is. As if anything wasn’t too our liking that sticks out in your mind but Everything was just perfect….

The room was lovely and clean and had everything that was needed for our stay Lovely little touches…..which you will see when you stay there!! The breakfast was huge and a excellent variety was on offer. Peter and Janet are excellent hosts very friendly and welcoming

I had the smallest room (1 person) which was VERY compact, but perfectly adequate and well planned. Just don’t bring a huge suitcase …

Although well ventilated, we had a south facing room that we found to be extremely hot. A fan was provided but was not used continuously during our stay.

Excellent, plenty of choice and cooked well to order. Good quality local produce used.

Window in bedroom opened just a small bit. but there was a fan in the room.

Good choice of food for breakfast. Nice welcome when you went in for your breakfast. Bed was small but cuffey.

Exceptionally clean rooms, very helpful hosts, bicycle friendly, amazing that there is a mini fridge in the room with fresh milk to enjoy a nice coffee or tea, so much nicer than the disgusting UHT milk that hotels usually have. Breakfast superb and a large choice. Location perfect for a nice quiet stay but close enough to all amenities.

Hosts are lovely, room was spotless. Everything needed was there;shower gel, shampoo, fresh milk for the good selection of teas and coffees in the room. Even a fan. As for the breakfast- huge with local products. Set us up for the day. In a great location near the beach and town. Free parking all around.

with fresh milk every day the guest house was ideally placed for a short walk to the beach so after a nap we headed there on arrival back Janet greeted us and asked what time we would like breakfast

we had a two night stay at the forest guest house we were greeted to the property by Janet who welcomed us with the South Shields charm our room was number 5 on the second floor described as a small double on the ascent to our room the walls of the guest house there was a a small art gallery of photographs by a local artist Alex jones well worth stopping and having a look at the magnificent pictures we finally got into our room like described it was a small double with a safe a flat screen to and a small fridge

There are lots of restaurants on the same road so sometimes can be noisy but it didn’t bother us.

The property was clean, comfortable and close to the beach. Really enjoyed our stay. Both Janet and Peter were fabulous hosts and made us feel comfortable.

Everything was very focused on the rules, we asked to check out an hour late on the last day, but were turned down, because all rooms were being used, however as we left I noticed the sign "Vacancies".

Superbly clean and a wonderful team effort by the owners, it's a pleasure to see them run this facility. Location is unbeatable for the seaside entertainment, park and high street businesses.
