There was a bit of building work which obstructed some views, but this will enhance the property in the future so it has to be done at some point!

The location was good, the staff were very very helpful and polite, made an effort to remember names which was a nice touch. The food was superb. Breakfast especially!

The hotel is just amazing, we’ve stayed previously and always enjoyed it. The staff are just so warm and welcoming and they honestly can’t do enough for you. The hotel is spotlessly clean and so beautifully decorated. There are renovations happening at the hotel currently but this didn’t negatively impact our experience. The food is fantastic and breakfast was perfect. Once the renovations have completed and the pool reopen we will 100% be back to stay.

The food in the restaurant was very expensive and not very good.

The staff were fantastic and the hotel was clean, welcoming, comfortable and luxurious without being at all stuffy. Great for dogs and kids.

Whilst the food was fantastic the prices were very high for the a la carte dinner and portion sizes quite small. Also in one of the rooms the background music was Classic FM (along with adverts) and this didn't really suit the ambience of the hotel. Finally the music choice in the restaurant for our evening meal was somewhat unusual and again not conducive with the atmosphere of the hotel

Very nice hotel which is undergoing significant refurbishment - the staff were very courteous and it really felt like a very upmarket establishment. Furnishings were excellent throughout and the food was superb. When the refurb is completed this will be a wonderful place to stay and (I expect) outside of our price bracket!

Absolutely everything. I love interior design and everything about Fowey Hall is just stunning. The property itself is beautiful and the interior complement it beautifully. Hill was a bit steep when walking down to the town , but that’s what to expect when staying somewhere ‘overlooking’ the town

A beautiful building with lots of history. Absolute first class service from very friendly staff that really made us feel welcome. There was currently a lot of building work going on outside but that didn’t matter as we were only staying on night whilst travelling through. The staff were that good they telephoned me to let me know this prior to arriving just in case I wanted to cancel. I simply can’t fault our experience.

Bit of a hike back out of town. Could an evening minibus service be offered?

We loved the room we were in (Robins) and enjoyed our breakfast and our dining experience . We appreciated the separation of us oldies from the boisterous families in the Garden room. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Service is great! The hotel team did a wonderful job. Lots of delicious options for breakfast - we recommend the full English and smoked salmon. We also enjoyed an unhurried winter afternoon tea while playing chess at the lounge. Love the games room for snooker and ping pong. The igloo pods are lovely for dinner, they are heated and you get blankets too. Elemis spa service is warm and welcoming. Nice stroll to the beach and Fowey town centre (must try The Dwelling House, #1 restaurant in Fowey). Thank you Fowey Hall team for making our stay enjoyable :)
