Room description said bathrobes and slippers in room but there weren't any. Only one choice of T-bags in room, no de-caf but that is personal preference. Bathroom smelt of urine.

The hotel seemed a bit isolated. It was noisy when opening the window. It was far too warm underneath the duvet. TV didn’t work.

The place was very clean and tidy. The staff were lovely.

Great location with free parking, within a five minute walk to Cardiff bay. Added bonus of a Miller and Carter steak house 20yds away. Comfortable bed, friendly, helpful staff and a great breakfast.

Room had two queen sized beds, bathrobe, slippers, tea, coffee, bottled water. Wide screen tv. Housekeeping staff were really helpful. Close to Cardiff Bay and Mermaid Quay. Free parking, lots of spaces. Comfortable hotel, would definitely recommend and would stay here again or at Bristol or Plymouth.

The bed was a bit too firm for me.

The room was warm quiet and clean. The hot water was lovely and hot and bathroom warm and clean The restaurant offered a lovely breakfast and their evening menu was reasonably priced. There is free parking at the hotel Staff are efficient and very helpful. Location great. 10 minute walk to the bay and to the train station which takes you into Cardiff Queen Street. They run every 20 minutes and it is a cheap return of £3.20 The red Dragon centre which is very close ro the hotel has a cinema and fast food take outs/eat in There is also a great steak restaurant just across from the hotel.

Lift broke down which was inconvenient as we were based on top floor.

Arrived early for check in and was asked to wait, but people who turned up after me were allowed in. Only one lift was working for the 3rd floor, but if the other lift arrived you couldn't call the right one. The room was too hot, despite having the window open. There was no power socket near the bed. One terrestrial channels on the TV and the radio options didn't work.

The staff were lovely. Location is good.

If you have an Electric car and expect to charge it at this hotel you might need to think again. The policy they have is beyond anything you could imagine. First come first served you get a card to activate the charge and that’s it easy you are thinking. Once you have the card if you’re willing to pay the fee you keep it for your length of stay and nobody else can use or even park in the electric bays without a £100 fine. So the bays could be empty all day as the people have kept the cards but as there are only 4 bays with 4 cards you cannot use them. I was told to keep coming back to reception to see if someone had been kind enough or even considered thinking of other people, I think not as a hybrid car was on charge for the whole 27 hours off are stay But if you ask at reception they will kindly give you the postcode for another charging point in the bay.

Unfortunately there were a group of people on our floor who were running g and down the corridor, shouting and screaming and slamming doors. Staff did put a stop to this, but it did prevent me from getting to sleep until very late.

Wonderful hotel, lovely staff who couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was large and spacious, very clean. The bed was very comfortable and big!!

Being accused of smoking in the recept , when i was walking outside with an unlit ciggy in my hand, didnt trust the elevators, one guest informed me the reception the left hand lift dropped with him in it, same lift did not go to floor three, £15 for breakfast.

One lift was out of action for the duration of our stay and for two days the lift button on ground floor was broken so everyone had to take stairs to first floor to get lift.

The locality to the main facilities of Cardiff Bay and Cardiff Centre. The comfort of the room and facilities .The helpful and professional staff and car parking .

Extremely Comfortable beds, Huge room and lots of space. Breakfast very tasty, We want the same situation were we asked for a room on the 3rd floor in the front of the car park we loved that happened. If We could, we would love this to happen again!
