Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomIt's a bit of a way from the city centre. It's probably handier for the airport. There are a couple of Metro stations within a ten-minute walk. Bed was a bit soft for me, but other people would be fine with that.
Breakfast was good, but seemed to run out of things quite quickly (i.e. pastries, some juices, etc.). It was quiet for its location on a busy road. Staff were pretty good.

United KingdomNo lock on inside of bedroom door. Door through to adjoining room, whilst locked made me feel uncomfortable, particularly as I was travelling alone. Very noisy guests banging around and shouting till after 2am, although that's not really the fault of the hotel. Bathroom was VERY small and was difficult with mobility issues trying to manoeuver round the door, toilet and shower door; toilet roll holder was in a ridiculous place under the sink!
Room was very comfortable and clean. Car parking on site. Staff are friendly and helpful. Have stayed here a couple of times and it's fine , I would stay here again.

United KingdomStaff interaction with guests- possibly due to language barrier, not very approachable, nil smiling Standards of cleanliness was sub par-room had left over dirt from previous guests in the room. no toilet /bathroom cleaning for our length of stay- Friday-tuesday) nil supplies- i had to ask cleaning team for toilet roll and towels on day 3. there should be a structured system/card system whereby guests can ask for supplies/ room cleaning /towel changes etc use of trays during breakfast might be helpful so guests can get everything in one go rather than going over to different part of the room several times having stirrer/spoon in the room for tea making would be nice. Only one socket between 3 beds! the socket had a round head!! so it was unusable for current plug heads. you had to use the 2 across the room making using phone/laptop in bed very difficult.
The location was central with good bus/taxi links The breakfast was actually good especially the little chapati bread (when it was fresh which was not everyday) as well as the mushrooms (when it was available) ie tuesday 22/8/23 had stale chapati bread-very dry and tough and no mushrooms at all. The Manager was helpful in helping me/resolving such that was able to take breakfast to our bedroom for my son Night staff gave me an extension plug so i can work plug in my gadgets in bed as plug sockets near bed obsolete

United KingdomSo having originally booked a double room I paid an extra £9 for an upgrade to a king size bed quite surprised when we had twin beds pushed together and the usual gap between the mattresses. Even the duvet was 2 singles clipped together. The room has been updated however the cobwebs and well as the sticky tack on the ceiling has obviously been up for quite sometime. The tv was tiny…a Panasonic that didn’t seem to want to switch on…which was understandable as the remote control was for a Daewoo tv. So speak reception promise for was a mistake and an apology but no change of room…we then decided to stay and eat at the hotel as it was late in the day…a nice modern restaurant…the menu had very little choice (3 starters, 3 mains and 3 puds…more of a pre theatre menu than a dinner menu….slept well then down for breakfast (an extra £10 per person) honestly can say the worst breakfast I have ever had in a hotel…continental breakfast…croissant and yogurt…no orange juice…grey, weak coffee, powdered eggs used for scrambled egg and just really disappointing.
Nice interior in reception area and bar/restaurant area. Staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay

United KingdomThe room wasn't serviced at all during our stay, so had to reuse towels - which isn't the best. Breakfast had limited range of food and at times we had to wait to get bread and fresh coffee. The room that we had was tired and could do with some TLC. Would I go back, depends only the price and occasion. Wouldn't be my first choice.
This was the cheapest hotel that we could find in Glasgow and for the price we paid it was grand. The location close to a couple of subway stations was great, ideal for getting into the city centre quickly. The restaurant and bar were good value, especially for the location

Having stayed before, I enjoy the location as it is close to access to get to Glasgow, Edinburgh, etc. The room is great and the staff are great as always. This time ended up staying for 4 nights and the only thing I would say was the fact that the menu at the restaurant was the same throughout the week, however, and having said that, the food was incredible.
