Extremely noisy at night. Every sound on the street seemed to travel to the apartment, echoed and amplified. Furthermore the property was advertised as having a terrace/balcony. We relied on photographs when we booked and were disappointed when, upon arrival, we realised that there was none.

The location was superb. We were in the centre of town, with all the shops and restaurants literally downstairs. The beach was 2 min walk. I cannot comment on the kitchen facilities as we did not cook - with the choice of restaurants in the area it would have been a crime to eat at home. Overall we had a very nice break.

The bathroom was a little worse for wear with paint peeling off and mould behind the taps. The hot water ran out in the morning so our showers were cold. The blinds need replacing as a lot of them didn’t close properly, and the window seals need repair, it’s was quite noisy at night time. The foyer and lifts smelt of urine. The key pick up was a little far away.

The location was excellent. The penthouse at apartment 40 was incredible. The balcony and view was amazing. The rooms were spacious and clean and well equipped !

The booking in was awful We arrived by taxi from the station and was told after phoning Booking.com that we had to go nearly all the way back to the station to collect the keys!! at a shop. We are not young and that 10 minute walk uphill with luggage was no joke and this was never explained in the paperwork, otherwise we would have collected them on the way down if we had known. We are both in our late 70s and this should have been explained beforehand, especially with hip and knee problems. NEEDS LOOKING AT!!

Returning the keys is tricky before 8am, as the convenience store is closed. You can't leave the keys in the apartment because it isn't a yale lock, so the property would be unsecure.

Slow communication. Key collection and drop off point a 15 minute walk with no parking. Decoration in need of tidying up in places ie bathroom peeling . Mis matched kitchen cupboards Sofa broken and very uncomfortable. Mattress in one of the rooms very worn and saggy. Tv signal very poor. Heating controlled by owner. It was far too hot asked for it to be turned down. Advised it had been but still unbearably hot.so windows opened wide . This had issues as a noisy area at night. Not the 5 star experience they advertise.

The code for the key collection was only sent 20mins before check in time. By which time I had no mobile data ( as we were roaming in the Uk) we had to walk around to find WiFi in order to collect the keys. An earlier email with this information would be better. The sofa bed was not overly clean.

The fact you couldn’t collect and drop off the keys on site. First experience of this and it wasn’t good. It would put me off coming again.

Key collection should be closer to the property rather than by the station for those who drive this would make easier pickup and drop off No toilet roll when we arrived lucky I had brought some with me

The Internet only downloads at 2.6mbs so streaming is impossible. The bar just outside the window is late night opening and makes sleeping difficult before 1am

The toaster kept breaking so made it hard to use and one of the showers part to turn on and off kept falling off so was unable to use. I think it would have been a bit easier if there were more then one set of keys for the apartment as it worked out a bit difficult when one person was going out and the other staying in.

the entrance hall was a messy although clean so it wasn’t very welcoming. No staff at all in sight but they promptly and efficiently responded to Whats App messages.

Sofa bed was not particularly comfortable, although this is a known issue with most sofa beds, also new pillows required. Window frames needed some cleaning and maintenance. Batteries needed replacing in wall clock and remote controls.

Excellent location. Easy hassle free key collection and drop off. Was cold when we arrived, text to the management company was answered quickly and issue resolved.

Access was via 3 key coded areas, the first of which were very dark. As a single female traveller I did feel quite uncomfortable and unsafe. I doubt if this would be an issue in the summer months. Once inside the building and into my apartment it’s was great

Can be a bit loud from nearby pubs on weekends, but it didn't affect our sleep or our toddler's sleep (white noise apps are enough to block it out). A few dodgy types outside the building at night, but I didn't see any trouble.

Brilliant location close to the pier and very central, nice clean apartment, TV supports Netflix & Prime, prompt responses from owner, good cooking facilities.
