We loved our stay at Greenacre and would definitely return again, so my comments below are not intended in a negative way. Rooms, while very clean and tidy, are quite cramped. The bed was a bit soft for me and hurt my back, so I relocated to the spare single in our room which did the trick. As other reviews noted, noise from the corridor and other rooms carries, but we didn’t find it too disruptive. Would be great to have a lounge for chilling, or perhaps have access to the dining room after hours, as the rooms are a bit tight to hang about in in the evenings. TV is quite small but did include a DVD player!

Great location with free parking. The included breakfast, while a little early, was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. It included cereal, toast, jam, cheese, ham, yoghurt, and of course tea and coffee. Yum! Toiletries and wee kettle etc in rooms also really handy. Well-stocked too - we enjoyed making a tea and having a complementary biscuit in the evening. Free WiFi. Our hosts were absolutely lovely. Excellent value for money. We would return without hesitation as it’s a great base for exploring.

Comfortable bed, breakfast, very clean and warm room, toiletries provided, welcoming hosts, beautiful location, and good value for money. Really enjoyed our stay. Special thank you for the hot chocolate in the room, this is exactly what I needed after the rainy day.

It was excellent but I would like to know what happened about my booking which I had to change from 26 to 27 Dec because of the landslide on the train line between Oban Glasgow. I would like a refund as Greenacre could not accommodate me on the 27th. I did change from 30 to 31st

we had the option of sleeping 3 in a room, which is amazing but means you will have to change in the bathrooms. Bathrooms were a bit tiny for that.

Nice friendly hosts. Lots of little extras in the room that I wasn't expecting. (I had forgotten to pack my toothbrush and shampoo and luckily these were provided). The place is spotless! Self-service style continental breakfast was good. Great views from dining room. Decent public transport links right outside the door (or large car parking space). Some lovely walks nearby.

Hot tap was too hot. In fact scolding. It's great to have hot water but for safety I would suggest It needs to be signposted as very hot!

It would have been even better if there was USB plugs as we forgot our plug to charge our phone.

A warm welcome, the room was nice and warm, and the complimentary toiletries was a nice touch. We also made use of the tea/coffee making facilities, and of course the biscuits.

The room was quite small if travelling with a dog, which we were. The chair in the room was in front of the bathroom door and would have been better left out.

Didnt like the fact we was kind of badgered about checking in by 9pm as we was driving for such a long time (9 hours) due to constant traffic all the way. We didnt notice this on the requirements when booking or we would of found somewhere else due to the situation of traffic so guess it was our fault. We gave regular updates on the time we would be arrivng to constantly be told they like everyone to check in by 9 due to children sleeping at this time. We was then told as we would be so late (10:00-10:30pm), we would need to check ourselves in, the front door would be left open with our key in the room door. Which was fair enough but then told again children will be sleeping so please come in quietly. We felt like naughty school children being late for our curfew which then added more stress to our journey than we needed as the weather was terrible and roads were closing as we got there and just seemed a total nightmare in the end. Was then told Breakfast was served between 7:30 - 8:30 only and check out was 10. When we entered for breakfast the host said morning and asked if we found it ok. There wasnt another child in site, which surprised us as we expected there to be alot due to the constant mention of being quiet as kids were sleeping. So this behaviour was alittle bit confusing tbh but this has really put us off and although the hotel its self is nice and clean , we didnt like the way the host dealt with our situation and we wouldn't return here.

Room was very clean, beds was comfortable, lots of different condiment in the room which was a nice touch/surprise. Everything we needed and more was provided in the room, towels, flannels, body wash etc. Even a toothbrush which i thought was very thoughful. Everything possible was thought of when the rooms were set up. Cant fault the room at all. Breakfast was self serve continental breakfast e.g cereals, longlife crossiants, toasts, yogurts, fruit, hot drinks etc, We only stayed for 1 night and arrived late. It was more than enough for what we needed. The hotel is nice and clean.

Although the Breakfast was included in the price it wasn't stipulated on Booking.com. No choice of Full Scottish or Continental you only had the choice of whatever was on the Continental Breakfast.
