Only coninental breakfast provided in the room was available, whilst this was perfectly adequate, a full breakfast as we've had previously at this hotel would be even better.

Sedgefield is a great location for drinks and dining and this hotel is perfectly situated to take advantage of everything on offer. A mini fridge in the room was handy for keeping drinks cool.

Friendly welcome (thanks Paul!) and a clean, relatively quiet room even though it was on the street side. Beautiful old building with classic features. Also a great location for walking to the event I was attending at Hardwick Hall.

Hotel in great location in the centre of town. Room was a good size, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Room also had mini fridge, tea and coffee making and continental breakfast.

We travelled to attend Sedgefield races, the location of the hotel was great with free parking, local pubs and restaurants nearby. The booking did not include breakfast but we were very pleased with the provison of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, tea/coffee, muffins etc that was included in the price and available in our room.

Needed to have a small table and chairs in room 4 so we could eat our continental breakfast in comfort. Balancing cereals on our knees whilst sitting on the bed is not good.

We would have enjoyed a sit down breakfast at a dining table. Don't expect a cooked breakfast in a dining room, it's not available, however there is a continental style breakfast left in your room fridge and plenty of it. Would have liked a EV charging, however there was free charging at the nearby supermarket.

No one in reception and no one answering emergency number which is not good it’s meant to be an emergency number! Mattress on bed not good!!

Hot water in the shower was hit and miss but not too much of an issue.

We were booked to stay in a double room but was advised ahead of our stay that there was an issue with our room and was offered the apartment at no additional cost. The check in went without a glitch, the flat although a little dated due to being an old building was clean, comfortable and adequate for our stay. We didn't have breakfast as we took advantage of the 11:00am check out but we were advised it was available as a continental breakfast.

Service at breakfast was a little laid back and food choice was continental and limited. Double room choice may be different to what you think you’ve booked. Some doubles are very small.

Very noisy when you flush the toilet or have a shower, very annoying early morning. The shower kept going hot and cold too.

Easy to find, has a small carpark which was unfortunately full when I arrived, parking is available on the street nearby tho. The room was simple yet clean and tidy.
