I didn't like the cracked hand basin in the room (144) this should be replaced before the room is let again.

The hotel was great. Easy to find, and a handy stop before our final destination.

Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Constantly rolling into the middle! Ended up with extremely sore neck and back. Room was not as described on this website! It was spacious, although tired looking. Stain on carpet. Wasn't very warm and the fan in the bathroom never ever turns off! Drinks are expensive over £9 for a small white wine spritzer! Over £7 for a pint of lager!

Left my breakfast room service request on my door handle the night before but nobody collected it so I never got breakfast room service and I never got a form left on my bedroom door after that. Having said that I went to the restaurant in the mornings for breakfast- no problem

Parking charges, its a shame that the hotel charge residents for parking. The charge was wavered on our previous stay. I specifically asked what time the pool was open until when we checked in and told 8pm. When we went to the pool the staff member in the fitness center announced that he was closing the pool at 7:30pm. This was disappointing. Upon check in I wasn't told what time check out was and what tie breakfast was served until. I tried to call from the phone in our room but the phone didn't work. I had to ring the hotel from my mobile for this information and again to order room service. One of the bedside lights didn't work which wasn't ideal with two children in the room.

The room was a good size and beds were comfortable. The swimming pool is lovely. Breakfast is also good with lots of options. Lovely touch being given warm cookies on arrival. We have stayed here before and will stay again.

Only let down was the room, need some updating, but was ok for the days booked.

The restaurant not so helpful as when inquiring for a table for two we where asked had we book one . Then we where directed to soft seated area? When there was clearly enough room in the restaurant it self? So we decided to eat go out and it in Newbury .

Sadly we were Disappointed by the Food, we ate in the Restaurant in the Evening, Menu looked promising but food was distinctly Average and Lacklustre. Breakfast whilst a Good offering Quality was lacking, The scrambled Egg was revolting and the Greek yogurt was thin and pourable. A Premier Inn breakfast is cheaper but Quality is far superior.

Fabulous Location for us as we were attending a family event near Swindon on Sunday. Spotlessly clean Reception,Bar,Dinning Area and Leisure facilities and Our Room. Extremely comfortable bed and Very Thoughtful extras in Room. Loved the Pool & Spa facilities. EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY- WILL STAY HERE AGAIN FOR SURE.

The heating in my room was broken throughout my 3 night stay. There was no offer to change rooms and it wasn't until I asked that a portable heater was supplied one was.

I thought we had booked an accessible room as we had before. Bed far too high for myself with limited mobility. It was horrendous getting on the bed. Couldn't use the shower as I couldn't get into the bath!

Breakfast was "same" it would not take much to add one special eg mushrooms, black pudding , smoked salmon , haggis or a varied serving eg eggs benedict. Pool area could do with refurbishment in steam room and a lattice mat on gents changing room floor, the floor gets wet and does not have time to dry a lattice mat separates water from feet.
