Hot/cold taps fitted the wrong way round. Red was cold, blue was hot. Only one bathroom for a property that sleeps 11. Walls were not very clean.

Great Location, great size, lots of beds. Easy to access, easy to find property. Good communication via booking.com with the hosts. Prompt and speedy response to any questions.

The stairs in the communal hall leading up to the apartment was very dirty . I appreciate it may not belong to the apartments but the first impression wasn’t good due to this . It would have been better to have been greeted by a clean , hoovered stair case . Also you could smell the Asian restaurant below .

This accommodation is up multiple flights of stairs, it is dirty and basically falling apart. The walk up the stairs to the apartment was covered in dust and rubbish, one of our family members walked into a cobweb. The hosts offered us replacement accommodation for the next day but not until 5pm which would cause us to waste another day. We eneded up booking a hotel because it would have ruined our holiday staying in this apartment. The hosts refused a partial refund and we did not even receive an apology. Save your money and do not book.

The property needs a major update. It's clear that whoever is responsible for cleaning has tried their best, but the place really does need a lick of paint and there are quite a few obvious repairs that need done. The boarded-up window leaked during the night and soaked my suitcase which wasn't great. On inspection the roof badly needs repair and during the night the kitchen light fittings filled with water which was a little frightening. The bathroom window blew open in the night and there did not seem any way to secure this properly.

One positive is that the bed linens were actually freshly laundered, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. The location was perfect. If you like Asian food, you might enjoy this as you will feel like you are sleeping in the kitchen of the restaurant downstairs.

2 beds broken on arrival and so had to put mattresses on the floor with no bedding. The owner promised to try and resolve the issue, but we had no further communication. They initially said that the last guests had broken the beds, but it was clear from previous reviews that this was a problem for them also. Only 3 chairs in kitchen for 6 people. Not nearly enough cutlery or crockery. We had to take it in turns to have breakfast and wash up in between. Smoke alarm was hanging down by wires in the kitchen. The whole apartment was tired and generally just dreadful. Please avoid!!

Cleanliness and safety were not considered in this apartment especially knowing there was children staying here. Bags of rubbish left on entrance. Smoke alarm hanging from ceiling. Glass found in 1 of the childrens beds and on the carpet to the point 1 of the children cut them selves. Very unclean surfaces and walls, to the point a dirty pair of thongs were found. Booked for 5 adults and 4 children, table with 3 chairs, only 4 plates and 3 sets of cutlery, if your offering accommodation for that many people then you should make sure there is enough utensils for that amount of people. Alot of repairs needed as it's past general wear and tear standards. If it wasn't for the fact that it was late and nowhere close enough for alternate accommodation, we would have stayed elsewhere.

The communal hallway wasn’t clean but this was made aware to me prior to arrival as I don’t think it has anything to do with the owner of the property.

The entrance & stairs up to the apartment were awful. It was dirty & looked like it had never been hoovered. Luckily, the flat itself was cleaner! The crockery & utensils need improving. The sheets on one of the beds hadn't been changed - this is a definite, no, no. I will not be staying here ever again. We booked for ourselves & 4 friends. It was quite embarrassing.
