The only issue we had was our mattress. Whilst it is firm and comfortable in the middle, the edges have collapsed, and "dip" and do not naturally keep you on the bed as expected. I actually fell out of bed whilst asleep as I turned over and hit the point where the dip was.

House on the Falls was the perfect peaceful place to retreat to the Isle of Skye. Donna was a wonderful host! We loved that it was a short drive to Portree, a 20-30 minute drive from most points of interest all over the island, a lovely walk along the falls directly behind the house, a cozy atmosphere in the rooms and shared spaces, with a delicious breakfasts delivered to your door, and sheep & horses to befriend!

The location was picturesque & very peaceful at night. Having the use of the comfortable lounge was great to sit & read a book. Donna our host was friendly & informative & the continental breakfasts were plentiful & perfect choices to start the day

Great breakfast delivered to the bedroom door each morning. Very comfortable bed in a spacious room. The bathroom was also quite large with a shower and soaker tub. There was also a common area with couches and rocking chairs where one could sit and read or chat with other guests. Just a short 15 minute drive outside the Portree town centre. Plenty of parking available at the B&B.

Loved the rural yet centered location on Isle of Skye. So peaceful and dreamt yet 10 mins from everything you need. LOVED the animals right outside our door/window. Interacting with Bonny and Bob the horse and pony was so cool. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Would happily return!

Beautiful location. Donna was a great host and made herself available when needed but wasn’t breathing down your neck. You couldn’t ask for a more relaxing experience. There was a lovely breakfast tray delivered to your door at 8am for you to enjoy at your leisure. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We are looking forward to our return trip

The breakfast offered is substantial, featuring the freshest fruit every morning. The rooms are clean, and there is a bathtub available for us to relax in after a long walk. Donna, the host, is incredibly hospitable, providing flexible check-in times.

My only bit of feedback would be a better quality coffee in the rooms as I missed a decent coffee in the mornings! Access to the kitchen to fill up water bottles and the kettle would have been good too. Aside from these small things our stay was fantastic. Donna was fantastic and our room so comfortable
