One of the beds mattresses was so soft, could feel the hard bed underneath. Shower room didn't smell great, horrible damp smell.

It was beautiful, lovely all through and spacious, great decor, great location, hot tub nice and hot, parking spot great.

Such a stunning location. Loved the pond with ducks and geese right outside your doorstep. Ample room to park and easy access to your chalet, with privacy for use of the hot tub. Lovely chalets with everything you need catered for. We had an issue with heating and water upon arrival but Charlotte was immediately on hand to help and arrange alternative accommodation for us. She was really friendly and helpful and went out of her way to ensure that we had everything that we needed, no matter what the time of day/night. She really does go above and beyond for guests. Thank you Charlotte!

Lodge smelt of cigarette smoke. Bed had broken slats and was therefore uncomfortable.

Excellent location, very close to Longleat. Hot tub was heated ready for our arrival. Walking distance to Warmington.

Although the lodge is lovely some improvements are needed, the toilet seat was broken and as this was previously reported I thought it would have been fixed, when the ceiling had been painted some paint had gone onto the wall, the hot tub area could be more inviting. There is a place on site that serves food and drink but when we went there on our second night quite a few items were not available from the menu so we ended up going into Warminster to eat

I spent the two days just wondering why there was a random tap in the front room??? ( thankfully the toddler couldn’t reach this) The property was clean but attention to detail not so great. Eg wardrobe doors thick with dust. Bathroom smelt damp could do with some bleach down the drains.

The property was lovely. Everything we needed. Lots of space. Great location for Longleat.

Could have been a little added extra of dressing gowns for hot tub would have been a lovely little extra but not essential.

I was unable to access emails to find where keys and what lodge I was in. HOST was very quick to respond to a message sent via mobile. The lodge was more than expected and very clean and tidy.

- Reception area had no staff but builders working??? - no one greeted us or checked we had arrived safely - Despite booking.com advertising a 2nd toilet which had been a major factor in the booking, as my fiancé is disabled & there was only one. - The promised lake view was non existent however our front view was of builders rubble, a dirty unswept (& cobbwebby) front terrace (which flooded!) & 2 refuse bins (BIFFA) whose smell & frequent rodent visitors did spoil the romantic getaway which was advertised under your filter. -No garden/decking or furniture. - On entering the lodge smelled distinctly of "cannabis" & we did find evidence of this. - On the first morning (after a tiring drive the previous day) we were awoken at 07:30 by the aforementioned builders starting work in the reception area next door. - The fact we were next door to (an unmanned) reception meant on at least 3 occasions both delivery drivers and new arrivals would enter our ledge causing further stress...... And several more I spent my arrival day chasing the manager, Charlotte who despite several texts, & messages took over 24hrs to get back to me & was no help blaming myself & booking.com!!!!! I then emailed you to escalate the complaint & I was promised a call back within 24hrs... That was over 72hrs ago and still no contact. I EXPECT A CALL BACK WITHIN 24HRS FROM YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGEMENT TEAM. I ALSO EXPECT A SIGNIFICANT (50%) REFUND OF THIS HOLIDAY COST. THIS WAS A SURPRISE ENGEGMENT PARTY FOR US BUT INSTEAD SARAH WAS SO UPSET & DISSAPOINTED. MIKE NORRIE

Bed in one room was broken, therefore, my daughter had to sleep on the sofa.The other bed mattress was extremely soft. Bathroom had a sewage like smell, think coming from shower drain.

Dirty. Floors and surfaces not cleaned. Dirty tissues in bedside drawer. Dirty dishes in cupboards. Hot tub was scummy with bits in it. Dog poo on doorstep. Message sent to property but no reply.

Location was perfect for spa break at Longleat. The lodge was beautifully decorated.

Property was in a lovely collection of similar properties - had a lake on site and in a beautiful area. 15mins walk to highstreet and shops. Was very clean and tidy through out.

It wasn’t swept around the hot tub so we had to locate a room and sweep around hot tub before we could use also didn’t appreciate having the cleaners kids shouting and trying to open our doors while we was relaxing in the lodge

The lodge was high spec and spotlessly clean. The hot tub was amazing and all ready for our arrival. The location was great 15 mins from longleat.

Lodge was almost in two halves. First part seems much older with a new extension. Older part was quite cold and could do with a revamp. Whilst it was not unclean, it could do with a deeper clean. Cobwebs in corners, mirrors and glass covered in dust. Kitchen wasn’t very well appointed. Limited glassware and no corkscrew which would be a varicose in a holiday let Beds and furnishings of a cheap nature, bed broke whilst we were there and clearly not designed for heavy use in a holiday let. No instructions for items like how to operate heating, hot tub and WiFi. Hot tub area was quite closed in and covered in leaves (although I do appreciate it was autumn) but had no view and surrounded by 6ft fencing so not pleasurable

In great location, just outside Warminster and close to attractions such as Longleat. Some improvements have been made recently to the lodge

The cleanliness needs to be of a higher standard, as we found a few dead bugs around the cabin and we also felt as though we had to clean all the utensils/kitchenware as they looked dirty prior to us using them. We also felt as though we could smell damp/mould in the main bedroom which made us feel a bit under the weather the following our stay. The WiFi was terrible and barely worked as it was locked away in a cupboard; I had to resort to using my personal hotspot in order to watch any streaming services on the TV as it wasnt tuned in properly for terrestrial viewing.

The location was good, the town centre was a relatively short walk or a few minutes in the car. It was nice having the hot tub being ready for us upon arrival and the cabin was pretty comfortable overall. The area itself was lovely and very scenic.
