Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomWe were surprised and disappointed when we got up the first morning for breakfast looking forward to a continental breakfast only to be told that had to be ordered the night before. That made no sense to us whatsoever as we’ve heard of a full English breakfast having to be prebooked in some establishments but never a continental?? Very strange. We hadn’t seen a sign anywhere. Neither of us wanted a cooked breakfast but the young girl serving was very good and offered us coffee, toast and cereal which we had.
My adult daughter and I stayed for 2 nights for a family party locally. We were very lucky that we were given one of the refurbished rooms. It was really nice, very comfortable and so quiet which was a surprise given its location. Most of the staff were very friendly. Carvery dinner was nice and very good value. Parking was free for our two day visit which was excellent. The train station was 2 mins from hotel where we got a direct train into London which took 1/2 hour, really good.

Also, just a suggestion, and I realise it is personal to us, but think you will find that a lot of disabled/elderly people might have the same issue….It was a little far to walk from the bed to the bathroom, especially at night for a disabled person. I wonder if it would be possible to move the door further along and have the bed a bit closer to the bathroom? Having said that, it was great to have an accessible room nearby.
That they had a fully accessible room with emergency cords, very helpful as there are not many of these rooms around.

United KingdomGot to Toby around 11am just wanted to check in so we had our key to room and leave our suitcase in the room ? Wouldn’t allow it The room was freezing cold at 1am couldn’t get heating to work ! Bed was a bit firm and l think mattresses need replacing as bit uncomfortable. Only enough milk to make 2 cups of tea which we used at 1 am so had no drink until we got down to breakfast extra milks in room please
