Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomSounds really petty. But we like to read and there was only wall lights. I did move lamp from bedroom. No microwave.
Great views. We loved the location only a 10 min drive to museum. We even walked to Iron museum.

United Kingdomdrive through / parking area a bit dark could do with some more lighting (as the path to cabin is a bit steep and with kids can be a bit tricky) otherwise ok - We managed to leave the terrace lights on when out late so that helped. TV includes free view but not access to stream from phone which could be a plus.
Stunning views, friendly staff, great value for money. Heating was a plus too, cabin was always warm which brought great comfort. Super close to nearby shops and amenities and main town Clean, tidy and very cosy - overall had a great experience. 2x friendly horses which the kids absolutely loved - this was a real bonus!!

United KingdomI came to Telford for the Snooker and some well need time out. I landed at the perfect location with the perfect host Tracy, the horses and peanut the dog. Tucked away off the main road you are surrounded by the calming of nature. If you need to unplug from life for a bit this would be a perfect place to come.

United KingdomThe kitchen equipment was very dirty (cutlery, trays etc) and there were no sharp knives or scissors which make cooking a little difficult!
The lodge is beautiful and cosy, overlooking a field. You can really escape everything which is wonderful. The town is a 30 min walk away and has plenty of fab pubs!

United KingdomUnderstandably for the size of the lodges, kitchen areas were small- very functional but not equipped/ appropriate for lots of cooking. Limited outdoor space.
Cosy lodges, with a remote feel but very accessible, close to Ironbridge attractions, shops etc. Great view out front. Some games provided for children. Good heating and hot water supply. Very comfy beds!

United KingdomThere wasn't really anything to dislike as such, but as a small general recommendation, the bedding and linen could do with a revamp.
It was extremely peaceful with lovely views. The Lodge was large enough to accommodate a family of four whilst remaining very cosy. The children loved the Mezzanine sleeping area! A small selection of games were provided for the children (which made a pleasant change from mobile phones) There was a nice seating area outside & a barbecue was provided should you wish to use it. There was a small field available for the children to play & run around in and two very friendly & delightful horses in the the paddock outside. Last but not least - the host. Tracy was extremely pleasant and was very informative of the local area, and no doubt was on hand if needed. Her little dog 'Peanut' was extremely friendly &happy to greet us. He also has a very inquisitive nature.

United KingdomWe loved every part of the accommodation and area. Unfortunately, we had very noisy neighbours who's children were outside screaming until 12.30pm which kept us awake! This was our only complaint.
The lodge was lovely, the views were amazing! Lots of cutlery, plates etc to use. We made use of the BBQ. Tracey was lovely and helpful.

United KingdomWould have liked a microwave as it just helps for a few bits here and there. Kettle unusable inside of it . Overall didn't affect our stay.
Lovely host . Such a beautiful view and the added extra for the downstairs bedroom to be able to have a coffee in bed with the doors open and the horses was lovely. It's by far the most peaceful place we have stayed . A really authentic lodge and plenty of space. Loved the hidden seating and BBQ at the side . Host gave us privacy and also felt comfortable enough to ask for anything if we needed. We will be back again for sure thank-you for having us

United KingdomWould have liked a freezer and microwave in the Willows cabin, especially as a self catering holiday we brought stuff with us thinking we could freeze it and we couldn't. Quite a few spiderwebs, but I guess that's to be expected in the countryside.
Loved the surroundings and the views. Cabin nice and cosy and the kids loved the bedroom upstairs!! Short walk to Ironbridge town as well.
