The place looks like it needs demolishing. Really un-loved and un-cared for. The walls are a miss-match of different patched up material like bathroom panels in the bedrooms. The floor in the toilet was wet and soft like it was about to collapse. The curtains and blinds were filthy. The whole chalet was very dirty, both ground in dirt and top dirt. Even the kettle was covered by a film of dusty grease. Absolutely disgusting. We were unable to stay in the filth so we left early!

The shed was disgusting very unclean my one year old son found a cigarette butt and put in his mouth, cobwebs dirty floors dirty toilet dirty shower. The shower was just hanging and nothing to attach it to to have a proper shower. The wall paper is hanging off the walls. The oven does not work after I bought food for me and my 3 kids 80% of which was for the oven to be told were get an engineer out never happened whilst i was there. We had to throw food in the bin as couldn't cook it. Don't get excited by WiFi it's awful and doesn't work. The tv will constantly lose signal aswell. Just general dirtiness needs some much loved TLC. if your looking for comfort do not go here.

Faulty plug socket in bedroom nearly got electrocuted water pouring from toilet had to fix that and the shower if your of larger statue you would not be able to access toilet or shower holes in ceiling no doors except toilet which would not close only 2 heaters could only use one calor gas not working badly bodged windows rubbish under beds general dirty stain floor cushion thows blind and curtains would not recommend as it should be demolished it's a death trap impossible to get hold of owners very lucky if they contact you could not access chalet on arrival didn't even say thank you for the repairs we did very dissatisfied

The code sent to access the site was incorrect. The lounge had 2 full black sacks, the beds had dirty slept in sheets with wet towels on the pillows. The kitchen area was covered in dirty dishes, the oven was covered in burnt on food. The bathroom area was grimy, no toilet paper. The wall paper was hanging off the walls. The floor was un vacuumed. The windows were covered with hanging sheets. There was nothing to like about this place. There was no contact from the owner until the following day, we were unable to stay, it was uninhabitable.

Owner was rude. Asbestos roof. Filthy. Nothing nice about it. Didn't stay there. Rot Filthy bunk beds in a hallway. Holes in ceiling. If I could rate this minus 100 I would. Had to leave after 5 minutes had to rent elsewhere

I was messaged by Richard with the new passcode but I had already booked somewhere else. But the next day I did go back and checked to see if the new code worked. The place wasn't even ready. I will never use this again

Nothing I couldn't get into the property because they had changed the door code. I had to book elsewhere but they still charged me.

Holes in the walls very dirty shower was broken was actually very disappointed mattresses were so uncomfortable springs sticking through them bags of rubbish storred outside

There was a large hole in one of the walls and a couple of the plug sockets were broken and potentially dangerous. The electric ignition did not work on the stove and there were no matches. I arrived after the shop had closed so I had no way to make a hot drink or my breakfast. I borrowed a lighter from a neighbour in the end. Not ideal.

I booked as description said dog friendly booked and paid then received message saying no pets. Owner didn't respond to any messages to cancel I had to rebook something else misleading description and refused refund

on arrival to chalet, we found it very dirty and dated , I spent 1 and a half hours cleaning the sink , worktops etc and tackling the cobwebs everywhere ,, reading the previous reviews , I was already sceptical ! but the chalet once cleaned , was cosy , quiet , there was heating , and it is situated in a lovely place for us to walk to beach etc , there was WiFi, it just needs a bit of love , cleaning and updating , take note owners , your communication is really bad !! im lucky someone was there to let us through the barrier , if we had travelled late ,there wouldn't have been anybody around ,leaving me to drag my luggage ,plus find the chalet in the dark !! not a good start !!!!

so when we arrived at the barrier , we put the code in , given by the owners ! it didn't work so I rang and left a message to say we couldn't get in !! the owners still haven't answered me now and we've been home a day !!! very bad communication

It was dirty oven was disgusting nonway could u cook bed sheets Stains mould toilet seat broke sink near shower was filthy tye actual shower tray had a huge lump of plaster or silicone in it and real dirty walls in shower nothing to even put shower head on to shower not that ya would broken window in toilet dirty toilet and toilet brush was meant for a family of 6 it had a 2 seater sofa which has seen better days and 2 chairs hardly any cutlery blood stained curtain and wall I have video and pictures of this place I would never ever stay there again and the ppl that own it have choose to ignore me as I asked for a full refund as stayed 1 night if weather wasn't really bad and the bridge was closed I would of left same day disgusting if I could load more pictures I would cause that's nit the half of how bad it was

Not the prettiest of sites with a number of rundown chalets but not a major issue and there is lots of open space. The kitchen equipment is showing some signs of end of season blues - only a couple of spoons and one small plate. A couple of the speed bumps are quite spectacular but if they keep the kids safe fine. Arrived Sunday afternoon and left Tuesday morning so didn't use the shower. Comms were good but a bit more info would have been useful. Google maps took us to the club entrance rather than the 1st inlet the actual site entrance, no info as to the entrance policy/price? for the onsite clubhouse or the nicer looking one up the road. We used the Leysdown pubs one (Rose and Crown) looked good and wasn't and the other (Corrigans) looked horrible but was actually very pleasant and friendly!

Our expectations based on the price we paid and it being a chalet were not dramatically high. We were going to a wedding nearby and it was available to book for 2 nights at a good price. The chalet has taken some punishment and a number of repairs/cosmetic repairs have been undertaken to various standards BUT it is small enough to quickly heat up (we had one cold night) and it was 100% waterproof through an incredibly wet night! The living area was big enough and warm enough to comfortably sit in. Not having been to a caravan/chalet park for many years what surprised us was it was possibly the quietest nights sleep we have had anywhere for many years despite it being half term and quite a lot of chalets being occupied on the Sunday night. Couple of small issues and Richard got back to us quickly on these
