Room was a bit small and dated..but clean and tidy.. Room could do with a makeover and fan in toilet was really loud.. Could here every footstep from room above.

Staff made you feel welcome 🤗 and always happy 😆 food was amazing and most important my granddaughter lovey it and in Sunday we had Easter disco games egg hunt..superb 👍

Worked in hotels I could pick up points that wasn’t great however the room was ok furnished lovely decorated to a high standard the bed was clean huge and very comfortable slept really good in it The view was nice would be unreal on a warm day Breakfast was from 8am howeva wen we arrived down stairs it was all in darkness however the chef did tell us to find a seat wen he got the lights and he even grabbed us and the other man a cuppa while he got sorted Was a wedding on that we was told about wen booking in there was loud music on til 12 but to be really honest once the tv was on it didn’t bother us and didn’t disturb us or our sleep which was fantastic Breakfast was really nice and hot wen it was served and again a lovely view while eating it Would use again really good price

Friendly reception; friendly, helpful and attentive staff making for a relaxing atmosphere. Fine views from the room over the Firth of Forth. Good internet speeds. Good selection of food on the restaurant menu - all very tasty.

The hotel is a bit tired. To be fair, new owners have some significant plans for the future. I am certain this will improve the offering from this hotel. Generally, the meals were unimagitive. Although this is common in the UK. Steak with chips and little else. A big improvement needed.

The location was ideal for me. Parking was easy. The room was per the description. The staff were helpful and nice.

Every floorboard seemed creaky! However, that's obviously due to the age of the property.

We loved staying here and appreciated the family room having two rooms! The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good. We loved being out of Edinburgh but being able to see it across the water.

We enjoyed the view from our room and dining of the Firth of Forth, lovely garden with outdoor seating, handy bus stop near by as we travel by public transport, so easy link to stations.
