A shame the bar does not open after 9pm! Bathroom could have been cleaner and it was very small!

Very reasonable price with parking included. Room was upgraded on arrival for no extra fee. Friendly welcome and easy to arrange a late check-in. A smart room, with everything in good working order.

As soon as I arrived at the reception, was greeted by a lovely receptionist who was very helpful and friendly and offered a free upgrade which I was delighted about. Thank you very much. The room was very comfortable with lots of room and spotless. Lovely garden outside the bar area,beautiful on a sunny day. Would definitely stay there again and only a 10 minute walk to the town centre

We got a dark room with a small window leading to a parking lot (despite the advertised room with large windows leading to the garden). We asked for a change, but apparently the hotel was fully booked (although a large party just left and they were cleaning the rooms). The sheets seemed clean and washed, but with a few old stains. I found the mattress uncomfortable.

The staff was nice and friendly, the breakfast was tasty. The hotel is tastefully decorated and has a garden for kids to run outside. The location is great, near the beach.

We only slept there as we were catching the early Poole ferry to France. Extremely comfortable beds - joined into a 6 foot superking. The room was very warm and comfortable, as was the shower room. Carpets were new, but some of the furniture was very tired and needs replacing. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. Plenty of toilet rolls in the shower room and good water pressure with plentiful hot water. We parked on site right next to the entrance (lucky) and had a ground floor room which was easily accessible.

Free parking on site. Room is nice with a view not involving a car park or back wall of another hotel. Room was warm and clean with nice decoration.

Budget room was small. Adequate for one person but difficult for two as double bed up against a wall.

Interior sound-proofing was average and I was woken up early by other guests. Not much they can do about this I imagine but sharing in case they can.

Friendly staff, clean and modern interior. Rooms well-equipped and small details such as hooks for coats, towels etc had been considered. Walking distance from town centre. Plenty of space in the car park when I stayed.

Room was compact but perfect for a single person.Shower was great,and the bed very comfortable. Light breakfast option was ideal and very nice. Tea and coffee tray were well stocked Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely use the Applewood hotel again.

Bedding - Cleanliness, needed replacing and pillows were only firm Setup - TV was not in the best place to be visible from both sides of the bed and headboard covered some plug points - not an issue for single person but could be frustrating for visitors travelling with others

The location is perfect, just at the top of the town. A short walk to the Bournemouth International Centre and the beach.
