Hot water difficult to adjust, breakfast a disaster most mornings, room so crammed we kept bruising our legs on sharp corners.

Get someone to paint the peeling bits out the front. Didn't look to be a big job. But it currently looks like no-one cares. No real dislikes except the stairs on 6th floor - but we managed ok. Though we liked the bathroom, the shower facilities were not good. My wife however loved the bath!

Loved the location, very convenient to get around London. The staff were always cheerful & helpful The bathroom was large and well eqipped And the bed was comfortable & cosy. We slept like a log. I loved the little fridge. Unlike many hotels, it kept stuff COLD. Well done

It's a pity that they've started serving only continental breakfast.

The hotel is located in a very nice, quiet area. Very easy access to the tube and bus (94). The room rather small, but I didn't mind it so much, as I didn't spend much time indoors. Cleaning done every day.

On the 2nd morning of our stay the breakfast was let down by no glasses for the fruit juice, no cups for tea of coffee and a much less variety of item on offer

Issue with the shower in the room (which I reported) breakfast was rather chaotic, loads of staff, no leader. Stood around waiting for coffee, or food, or, drinks, there always seemed to a delay in getting something. But, it was good quality food and the staff were very pleasant. The lad in the bar spent more time elsewhere than where he should have been! Nice lad but needs a rocket up his backside, customers are the priority, not walking about chatting to other staff. 👍. But, again, very pleasant young man. All the staff on reception were excellent!!!

Excellent location, close to the parks and close to the city. Nice room (in the basement) and in the majority the staff, especially at reception were brilliant.

Staff during breakfast felt stressed out and everybody was responsible for everything. Did not like the fact that the staff who removes used dishes and food rests with their hands (wearing gloves) also goes to the kitchen, gets clean plates and cutlery and hands those over to new guests. Would be way more hygienic (and efficient) if roles are separate, so that certain staff only removes dirty dishes while others serve new guests. Sound isolation between rooms is not very efficient. Could hear crackling floors from above and every step in front of my room door. Luckily it got rather quiet during night-time.

Location has good connections to bus and underground and is in a quiet road with not much traffic, which makes it rather silent. Breakfast had good enough selections and good tea and coffee. Staff at front desk was very friendly and swift to address any requests.

Upon our arrival I asked the male desk clerk for some additional bedding. He said no !!?? A second male employee arrived and provided the bedding. When I then requested an additional pillow - they both refused!!?? That’s never happed in all my many hotel stays. I rarely ask for things on my stays but refusing that simple request at checkin seemed very inconsiderate and resulted in a very bad first impression.

Great location. Very clean. Well maintained. The female staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. They had great customer awareness and dealt with requests thoughtfully.

I requested an iron and was told it would be sent to the room but never arrived. There was no fridge in the room.

Breakfast was not a good experience. The restaurant was understaffed, and long queues. I had to clean a table for myself and family. On day 3 the service was changed to continental which was much better and more staff added to deal with the number of guests. We felt for the poor staff as they were doing their best.

The room and especially the bathroom are in need of renovation. On the first two days the service at breakfast was extremely chaotic, although this seems to have now been dealt with by a change of management and serving a continental breakfast instead of full English. The lift operates strangely, sometimes going up to higher floors before taking us down.

The location in central London is excellent, the staff were very friendly and it was clean. Despite a few minor issues we enjoyed our stay.

All rooms with windows to the inner yard are quite noisy because of all the air conditioners and the poor windows insulation. Poor choice at breakfast.

the breakfast! not the quality but the complete lack of organization. 3 people try to do everything. Welcoming the guests, clearing the table, refilling food, bringing clean glasses. Maybe you should not set the table, each guest can get cutlery and glasses. Then you just have to clear the table (1 person). Another task is to refill the food and plates, glasses and cutlery (1 person). A third receives the guests and seats them (1 person). give coffee and tea from a vending machine, not take them out to everyone. so this could be improved
