Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Breakfast was OK when we finally got it. Shown to our seat then left . We were not told about fruit juice yogurt toast etc to find them. When we found it there was no orange/apple juice or glasses. It then took about 45 mins to actually get our breakfast. Ruined a great start to the day.

United KingdomThe carpets upstairs were getting a little shoddy and it’s a shame the car park interrupts the views from Public spaces and the spa area. Overall though these were small things!
The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, particularly new waiter. They all worked very hard but nothing was too much trouble. The little cakes on our arrival, for my partner’s birthday, were a lovely personal touch- thank you!

United KingdomCleanliness could be much better. Stayed in room 23 and the bathroom was a particular area of concern. Dirty towels and hairs found in multiple locations. Bedroom bedside lamps were full of dust (antlers). Bedroom main light cover/shade had what looked like dead flys lying on the bottom (didn’t want to check for risk of them falling on to the bed)
Excellent facilities and very welcoming and informative staff. Breakfast was a personal highlight.

United KingdomI feel that the prices are getting a bit expensive. £11 for a glass of prosecco, £23 for what was effectively bolognaise. The restaurant food is nice, but I grudge paying extras for veg on what is already an expensive menu. The spa needs to be cleared more regularly. There are only about 6 pegs to hang your dressing gowns and people leave towels everywhere, on top of the beds preventing people from using them. It would be helpful if these could be cleared as some people had clearly left and the beds still looked occupied, stopping others from being able to use. A couple of baskets and additional hooks on the walls in the pool area would be a simple solution. Quite a lot of the lockers were faulty and didnt lock.
Spa was excellent, really enjoyed using the hot tub overlooking the loch, despite it raining. Last year i felt there was very little Christmas atmosphere, This year I was pleased to see that they had more decorations in the bar area and had lounge music playing. This really helped make a big open space feel more cosy and comfortable. This made us stay for our evening in the hotel, otherwise we would have likely walked into town to the competition for drinks. We asked reception to have maintenance look at our bathroom door which was squeaking very loudly. This was done very quickly which was appreciated.

United KingdomA bit noisy, people upstairs sounded like tap dancing elephants then bin lorry outside when trying to sleep, wet room style shower meant there was a lot of water on the bathroom floor so you got wet feet every time you used the bathroom after showering . Staff checking their watches in front of you when you enter the restaurant making you feel awkward even when you were on time
Lovely hotel , big spacious room . Excellent spa and pool with hot tubs and saunas you could use all day. Robes were nice to wear around pool area and towels provided. Big spacious bathroom super comfy large beds. Nice restaurant tasty breakfast and really nice evening food recommend the steak

United KingdomThey attempted to charge me again for the room when I checked in despite me already paying when I booked through Booking.com. It was rectified, however they again tried to bill me again for the room when I was checking out. Not really acceptable. The bed was uncomfortable with a noticeable lump down the centre, felt like I was falling out of the bed and the restaurant and bar is way too expensive.
The staff were great, pleasant and friendly.
