No issues whatsoever. It might be worth pointing out that it has no TV/Radio, but that didn’t bother us. It does have Wi-Fi, so, if you want to connect your mobile phone/tablet/laptop etc, you can do so.

Superb short break away. The pod is modern, clean, comfy and warm. The kitchenette is also well appointed. Set in the back garden of the owner’s property, but with separation allowing privacy and to come and go as you please. The village of Lewiston is quaint and has a pub called The Loch Inn that does meals and nearby Drumnadrochit has a number of pubs and restaurants, we tried Fiddlers on the first night of our stay and the meal and service was fab 👍😍. Other things to add: the pod is, as listed, ‘a tranquil retreat’…it is set in a peaceful environment. Great location for nearby Loch Ness, Inverness and Fort Augustus. Also, a special mention to Xia - who was very welcoming on our arrival and shared some homemade cookies 🍪 with us on our departure. They were lovely btw 👍😍. We would recommend this property to anyone wanting some escapism and a chance to unwind.

Not much of a view, but we needed a place to sleep, eat and shower. This was more than expected.

Very affordable and comfortable setup near Loch Ness. Tucked behind a house but separate fenching ensures privacy. All amenities in a cosy tiny home setup. Easy hikes in area with great virws of Loch and ancient Redwoods

This pod has everything you need for a short break. There is a microwave and a hob so food can easily be prepared. Price is very good and the hosts are lovely. Good to get away from the tv for a night.

An extraction hob would be nice to prevent the smoke alarm from going off when you fry your bacon.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable as it was slightly bowed in the middle. Probably wouldn’t be a problem normally but I’m a fussy sleeper who likes my own side of the bed!

The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Although you haven’t got to have any contact it was so lovely of them to introduce themselves and check we had everything we needed and asked if they could help with anything. The pod itself is at the end of their garden behind a tall fence so it’s secluded from the peoples house so you dont feel watched. They have provided a lovely besto set so you can sit out and enjoy the weather if wanted. They provide off road parking on their drive which was perfect. Easy instructions to find the property. Perfect little kitchen set up with table and 2 chair to eat at. As well as a few condiments and sets of cutlery provided- very thoughtful!

Absolutely nothing!

The couple who host you are absolutely amazing. They are really friendly and helpful. As it was our anniversary their sweet daughter wrote us out a card and gave us a box of chocolates on arrival which was so thoughtful. We had been chatting back and forth before our arrival getting some advice on local places to have a special dinner and it did not disappoint. Their recommendations exceeded all expectations. The food and whole dinning experience at fiddlers was outstanding. Super helpful couple. The pod was so perfect for just us for a cosy private night away from the kids. It has everything you need from a wee cooker (we didn't use this) a fridge and the bathroom facilities were great too. The private garden right outside is very well kept and maintained and had we been staying longer than one night then we would have probably made more if this space. The pod was immaculate for our arrival and very welcoming. I cannot recommend this wee spot highly enough and I certainly cannot wait to come back.

The host was great and very friendly. Everything is clean and well prepared for us before our stay. The pod itself is very cozy and quiet. Location is very close to all the attractions of Loch Ness. Highly recommend Highland Hideaway Pod. We had a great time!

When I arrived I asked for a way to cycle and the owners offered a personal mountain bike to use and give me routes recommendations. Thanks to that I could explore the surroundings with ease

Nothing it was all fantastic

Lives up to it's title, it is a well appointed Luxury Pod, excellent ensuite and kitchenette Heating and shower we great. The Host was very friendly, the pod has it's own private yard and onsite parking

We loved it all

Very clean and comfortable pod in a quiet and relaxed area. Loved staying here. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Everything needed under one roof too!
