First evening was difficult because of a constantly yapping dog left alone in the room next door for 2 hours. Apart from that we were happy with everything.

Beautiful hotel. Lovely room overlooking the lake and good facilities. Buses and the ferry stop are almost outside the door.

The staff on reception extremely rude, not very polite or courteous which is a shame as they are the first people you meet when you arrive.

Fabulous location with a great spa, rooms were nice and clean. Lovely bar area and very nice served in the evening and breakfast.

The location is beautiful and situated in such a gorgeous location. So close to Keswick town means popping in and out again a breeze

The room was very hot. We had our 4 month old baby with us and it was too warm for her. Even with a fan circulating it wasn’t cooling the room down. However we rang reception and asked for an additional fan which was accommodated for straight away and brought up to our room.

It was a lovely location and the staff were lovely and accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious. Prime location for great views of the lake.

Spa should be included in price for lake view rooms or atleast lowered. As well as small discounts in restaurants

One small complaint, we had a standard twin room, which was quite small, there were so many cushions on each bed (4 or 5),that when removed and placed on the floor there was very little room to walk, they look nice but a little bit to much.

Stayed at this hotel quite a few times over the years, and this stay was the best yet, staff brilliant, and a lovely refurbishment, it's such a relaxing hotel. And there's a special area where dogs are aloud,as not everyone wants dogs around them .

We paid extra for a seating area in our room, which ended up being a singular chair, but of a rip off considering two people staying in the room

The whole experience was lovely start to finish . The surroundings of the hotel are just beautiful. Has a lively , friendly feeling .

The view from our room, for the price we paid we were overlooking the roof which was disappointing especially when I upgraded a few weeks before our stay and all we got was a bigger bed.

The view was lovely when sat near a window in the restaurant, bar or outside. The spa was lovely just not many beds/chairs out side. The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional.

You are expected to book your spa time, breakfast and dinner before you arrive. That is not what I expect or what I am used to from a quality hotel. The dinner options were expensive and a minimum of 2 courses at the brasserie. The lift was very small. The dog friendly conservatory was not available due to weddings. Our lake view room was small for the price.

The location was fabulous, the whole hotel was smart and comfortable and the food was good. The ability to book decent rooms with a dog and being able to breakfast and dine with our dog was great.

Amazing views from both the spa and hotel . We had a beautiful well decorated room with balcony overlooking the lake and mountains. The photos don’t do it justice !
