The location was very quiet - though close enough to the town. The facilities were top notch. An excellent studio/ apartment that is extremely well maintained. The host had gone to a great deal of trouble to make us feel welcome - milk, water, teabags etc. Highly recommend.

We liked everything

The style of the place.The peace and quiet. The attention to detail. The separation of rooms was very clever.And the extra courtyard was lovely and private.

Only thing was that the ironing stand had a bit missing so was wobbly.

Lots of space for everything needed both inside and out. Very clean. Felt very welcome and all the small little touches made a big difference.

The hosts, Liz and Gary, gave us the warmest welcome we've ever received from any hosts! They were lovely and super helpful. The property was immaculate: clean, cozy, private and had everything in perfect shape. Location is in quiet, residential area and felt super safe. For what we needed, it was just perfect.

Only 4 teabags provided. Need to replace the small bath towels with bath sheets. Difficult to lock front security door.

What a lovely place! It is really well designed and decorated. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Really well equipped little kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Good wardrobe space with lots of hangars, iron and board and even a hairdryer. Bathroom is nice with a big shower with shampoo and conditioner provided and lovely fluffy towels. Comfortable bed with good pillows and it's very quiet so we slept very well. TV and WiFi both worked well. Tea, coffee, biscuits and even milk and water provided. Easy walk to Westcliff and Margate with shops and a good chippy nearby. We only stayed for one night but its big and comfy enough to do longer. The little patio is a real bonus. Onsite parking also a plus. Liz was great with communication and helpful tips. Fantastic value for money, we would happily recommend and stay again next time we're in the area.

Had everything we needed and then some! Having tea/coffee and milk was a lovely touch. And we had a great surprise to find the outside space 😌 It is a bit of a walk to the main town of Margate but only £5 in a taxi. Liz was really communicative and helpful, highly recommend!

Wow, I've got nothing but praise for this place. It exceeded my expectations. Communication with the owner was excellent and I was provided with detailed instructions on how to access the retreat which is a self contained flat within the grounds of a private property in a quiet residential area of Margate. I was able to let myself in by accessing the key from a key safe and the flat had more than everything I needed. It even has a private outdoor decked area for the warmer months. It was lovely and peaceful and the lounge area was comfortable. The owner was on hand to help me with the heating when I couldn't work out how to get it going as the room was initially quite cold but after she came and showed me how to get it going the room heated up very quickly. Everything else was well thought out with laminated sheets explaining where things were. The flat is furnished to a high standard with a modern shower room. There is a kitchenette area with everything you would need if you were staying longer. I was only staying one night so didn't make full use of the oven and microwave. The owner had left some milk and bottled water in the fridge which was a really nice touch. The bed was very comfortable and I had a superb night's sleep. The area is quite and there wasn't any noise at all which was great. It is a little out of the town centre but there is a bus stop very near by and if you don't wish to walk or bus back into the centre of town there is an excellent Indian restaurant within a 5 minute walk. If you like Indian food you must have a meal at Flavours by Kumar.

A very nice and pleasant apartment in a quiet village/residential area. The apartment was recently converted, very cleverly using modern equipment but decorated in a rustic fashion. Very comfortable with everything for a perfect self catering stay. A dedicated parking space and private entrance made it easy to come and go at my own convenience. The owner was very friendly and communicable and gave me loads of information and tips. Self check- in was easy

This little studio has the best location, just couple of minutes from the beach, and has literally everything what you could need away from home. A fully equipped kitchen opposite of the living room area, a shower in the bathroom and a super cosy bedroom. It is a super quite area, very private, the rooms were spotless clean and the host was lovely too. Perfect place to stay at in summer, with a little terrace, or winter too as heating needs 10 min tops to heat up the rooms. I hope I will be back as soon as possible!
