The upstairs bed was not comfortable, to basically crawl to the floor it was not easy to get in and out of bed. Our family member being 80 had to use the downstairs bedroom hence not being able to switch rooms. There is paint peeling off some areas of the apartment, the apartment needs a thorough inspection for cleanliness, we found one of the stools to have food on the back surround. The rug being shag pile is not very clean and we found in the upstairs bedroom a yellow stain on the carpet and also what looks like animal hair clumps. I also wasn’t aware that the car park would be offsite in a general car park not close to the apartment therefore was a trek with items backwards and forwards for our stay. The fire escape is overgrown and a health and safety hazard. We unfortunately did not find this stay good value for money at a rate of nearly £100/night per person. Internet standard, all devices had to be disconnected to watch TV. Settee tired and could be cleaned.

toilet seat fell off repeatedly (sorted now which is great but could not use for 24 hrs), sensor light and fan upstairs toilet permanently on even overnight as not working (mentioned when we reported the toilet seat issue) blind in upstairs bathroom broke so remains open overnight

Accommodation looks better in the photo than in reality. Bedroom is without window, bed too narrow and bad. There is no storage space in the bathroom.

for the price ad the quality of the furnishings etc the bed in the down stairs bedroom is just awful, poor quality and extremely uncomfortable. Metal bed frame is flimsy and the mattress should not be allowed in a n apartment at this price point. it ruined our trip as we didn’t sleep for the 2 nights Also the 4pm checking and the 10am checkout is a joke

The ground floor bedroom has an extremely poor quality thin mattress on it, as such you can feel the springs and even the bed frame beneath it. Such a shame, as this let the rental down considerably, as the friends we travelled with had this room, and had two very uncomfortable nights sleep (lack of)

The apartment was beautiful ans spacious with everything we neefed...2 bathrooms were a bonus and the location was perfect..5 minutes walk from key locations in the city. If I ever visit York again I would stay here.

Only very minor problem was off loading your luggage as parking was not on the premises but very grateful for the parking as it can be expensive in York.
