This is the second time I have stayed here and loved it just as much as the first time, maybe even more which I didn’t think was possible. Amazing place, beautiful views and run by a super friendly and welcoming family, what’s not to love!

There was nothing that could of been done any better.

Location was perfect off the main track but located within easy reach of facilities. Clean & comfortable, magnificent views The bedrooms where light and airy , tea & coffee making facilities, hair dryer & the bed was very comfortable.Excellent friendly hosts, helpfull with suggestions of places to visit and eat. Breakfast was well cooked, lots of variety and fresh local foods.

Warm welcome from Gareth and his wife - beautiful location and facilities. Comfortable bed and freshly cooked breakfast to start the day. Great view from the breakfast room over Mourne farmlands as the crows danced on the breeze. Recommended.

Wonderful stay , the owners were very very accommodating, to the point , that I should have arrived at there property at 10 pm but due to bad weather the sea ferries were delayed by hours , making my arrival to my holiday destination very late into the very late hours of the morning , they waited up for me and still they offered me a very warm welcome , i would throughly recommend the aMourne bed and breakfast stay

The breakfast was so delicious, everything fresh and beautifully cooked. Each morning little extras eg homemade blueberry muffins, banana bread all made by Emma. This was the cleanest guest house we have ever stayed in, plus Gareth was an amazing host.

Our hosts, Gareth, Emma and Faith (aged 1) made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was excellent and our bed was really comfortable. Wifi was available, but on holiday we prefer not to use it. Our hosts provided all the local knowledge we needed!

Nothing everything was first class.

Breakfast was offered with delicious homemade muffins, orange juice, and cereal in addition to the perfectly cooked and tasty full Irish. The hosts were extremely friendly with excellent knowledge and details of the local area. The location and house were beautiful. The other outstanding feature was the attention to all details in the room and facilities within the main house.

This is a beautiful country B&B, the location is great just 4mins out of Kilkeel, breakfast was great with local produce and Gareth and Emma are lovely hosts. This was our second visit to MCH and hope to be back again, I would highly recommend this accommodation, close to the sea and the mountains.

Nothing- it’s perfect!

The location is stunning, the building itself is beautiful and the hosts so welcoming. Our room was perfect, great shower and super comfy bed. Breakfast was amazing and Gareth went out of his way to find things out for us overnight. We absolutely loved our stay and have managed to squeeze another night in later on our trip as we couldn’t go without having one more night!

The hosts were friendly and courteous, and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was amazing, with plenty to choose from the menu. The property is situated near the Mourne Mountains and is therefore the perfect base for exploring this beautiful part of Northern Ireland.
