Some decor needed in a few places.

Views from the third floor. Bar is located there. Stunning outlook. Bit of a trek if you are in front ground floor lounges. Looks better inside than out. Grounds are very spacious and picturesque. Ample car parking. Comfortable room and bed.

ground floor room overlooking car park so people could see in unless we closed the curtains. a blind or net curtains would have been useful.

Food - several dishes on the menu were not available. Burgers basic and certainly not value for money. Breakfast food in bain-maries stone cold, as were plates. DEFINITELY not worth £12pp.

The bar prices were shockingly expensive

This was a perfect stopp.off on our days walk. The staff were friendly. The room.was clean but our kettle was empty yet switched on and noticeably heating itself with no water inside so the inside was charcoal. I notified the staff of this (, fire risk). The prices in the bar were disgustingly high. We went nearby and enjoyed 3 drinks for the cost of 1 here

Didn't like being on bottom floor, noisy with people passing in corridor, walls/doors not soundproof, Didn't like wooden floor would have preferred carpet in room, only curtains in room so had to keep them closed most of the time because cars were parked facing right into the room

Situation of hotel was fine,shower was fabulous but there was no body soap/shower gel in container, bed was lovely and comfy, we never ate at the property so can't comment about the food.

Food ok breakfast tired we arrived to breakfast on the late side (not the last) cooked breakfast look and as though it had been there since 7am not a good look it was also only just warm I did mention this to the staff who apologized and again to the receptionist when I went to pay , I wasn’t looking to get a refund but non was offered. I would also like to add my partners is a vegetarian and very little option was available to him on either the dinner or breakfast menus, I realise you are catering for a lot of coach parties but please don’t do this at the expense of the individual. We were planning on taking an extra night but decided against it .

It is a nice idea to provide body lotion - it would be even better to situate it so that it can be reached from outside of the shower

Hotel is situated centrally in Tyndrum, the rest of the location is easily reached by foot.

The light and fan in the bathroom don't work independently. In order to have the light off, the fan stayed on. We opted to leave the light on and the fan off.

Rooms were comfortable. Bed was comfortable too. Room was clean. Location when walking the West Highland Way is great. No food is included in the rate, and we didn't add the breakfast. There are restaurants nearby in walking distance. We missed a bus and the hotel staff were super helpful in finding alternatives for us.

Very large dining room - bit of a coach party feel. We booked dbb- dinner was a buffet. Unfortunately the food was unappealing, including a pasta dish and a chicken dish overcooked from sitting a long time. A kind member of staff allowed us to choose from the a la carte menu.

We were walking the west highland way so it was a good location. Great views from the 3rd floor bar and dining room.
