How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

What an excellent find for a late night flight into Inverness, very easy drive & close to the airport! This cozy condo was very clean and had a nice kitchen with appliances. A huge perk was that it was on the ground floor so that we didn’t have to haul luggage in and up steps!

Super clean, easy to find and access, close to the airport. Hosts went out of their way to return items my kids left behind. USB ports accessible, plus ports for EU and NA in the apartment (forgot UK adapters).

It was just a bit hot in the flat, so fan would've made sleeping a lot easier. People were smoking outside the flat so couldn't open the windows for long. That's a bit nitpicking though, we honestly loved our stay

Nothing, regarding the apartment.
The location was about 9 miles outside Inverness, bu only about a mile from the airport. There's a train station at the airport which we used to get in/out of Inverness. A good service but the last train back was 21.30hrs, a little early may be? The apartment was great! well fitted out, clean and tidy. There's a shop, literally across the road but, sadly no pub!

There was absolutely no phone signal inside the flat but it reappears as soon as you walk out. Also since we were reliant on public transport, a bus which plies regularly from very close by for Inverness city center was very infrequent on Saturday and not available on sunday. Everything about the flat was good except the bed is quite springy hence may not be suitable for all.
Very pleasant village with a store and a pharmacy just across the road and also close to the airport. The flat itself is very clean, well laid out with strong wifi and was pleasantly surprised to find Netflix on the tv. Also there was hot water all through and a nice stove on which we could do light cooking.

We booked due the proximity to our son, his partner and their beautiful three week old daughter who live only 5 minutes walk away This apartment is perfectly clean, well equipped, cosy and quiet. This is ideally located for the purpose we needed a let for - nearby but not living "on top" of the new family. For a tourist traveller, Tornagrain is a perfect location as a base and No7 is a definite must to book - we cannot find fault with the apartment or Ali (our host) who has been very helpful and is a great communicator. We will be back

Our host was extremely attentive and ensured we were able to fetch the keys to gain access. The village is new and very quiet with easy access to Inverness City Centre and Inverness Airport .

We arrived at Inverness Airport late in the evening and this flat was ideal to spend the night before starting our road trip. Location is a short 5 min drive from the airport (it would be hard to access without a car). Tornagrain is small, but has all the amenities we needed, including a well-stocked pharmacy and nice little cafe where we stopped for brunch in the morning. The flat is comfortable and clean.

Self catering accommodation, thank you so much for the coffee, sugar, milk. Everything and more, cooker, microwave, cooking utensils , washing machine. Nothing to dislike, thank you for the crisps and gift, lovely touch, very unexpected.
