Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyI believe that the price for the glamping was too high, considering that the facilities were not very close either. Not sure if it was a price that was related to the fact that we booked through Booking.com or if it is just the price of the glamping, but I feel it could be a bit more accessible. This is just because I loved the experience, but don't think I could afford it again soon if those are the prices always.
Oastbrook is an incredible place where you can visit a different world from the big city (we live in London, so definitely very different). It is an oasis of peace where you can spend time talking and just chilling, enjoying the company of Nick and America. They are the couple managing everything at Oastbrook and you can see they really enjoy spending time together and with customers. Their passion is to produce wine and I can definitely say they do it very well because we bought one of their wines (a red one) and it was one of the best that I have ever tried!!! Really liked the tour where America showed us the vineyard with her energetic personality!! The vineyard allowed my partner and myself to spend a lovely weekend talking and knowing each other even more!! Loved it!!

United KingdomAbsolutely nothing, I couldn't fault it,
The location is just perfect. it's easy to escape and relax in this beautiful setting. The bed was incredibly comfy Nick and America have thought of every whim you might need in the glamping tents. With washroom facilities and toilets very close Barbecue facilities and tools are there at your disposal if you wish. And to top it off, a very healthy and delicious breakfast. America was the perfect host. She couldn't do enough for you. Highly recommended

United KingdomToilets a little far from our tent (for nighttime visits) but understand the reasons that it would be very difficult and expensive to move them nearer to the tents

United KingdomThis was my first time camping (even at my age!) and I hadn't realised how far away the toilets and shower would be. Also I am sure I had read that you would have private facilities with your own key. In fact, I was the only one staying so I did have my own shower but these would have been communal if other tents had been occupied. The toilets were a short walk from the shower rooms and I think they were also used by wine tasting guests. I did do a bit of a double take about how isolated I was on my own in the only tent occupied in the middle of a field!
The tent was equipped with heater, fan, kettle, fridge, very comfortable large bed, extra warm bedding and other things to make the stay comfortable. I liked the quiet, peaceful location. I slept really well. Toilets and shower room very clean. Beautiful setting on a vineyard. Extremely warm welcome and even sampled a couple of wines which are made at the vineyard before checking in. Excellent wine. Breakfast was delicious.

United KingdomThe toilets were quite far (only the first 3 tents were kind of closer to them). If you need the toilet in the middle of the night you’ll have to put the clothes on to be able to get to the far away toilet facilities. There were 3 communal shower rooms separate from the toilets, they are not private. The equipment was quite poor, we had to buy lighter if we don't have it. The fridge was tiny, didn't fit much. The warm bottles of water provided didn’t even fit in the fridge in the tent… even if they know you are checking in at a certain time, you will still have to wait for the water to be brought to you, we needed to request it again as they forgot about us. We had to bring back the breakfast box by ourselves. We feel it's far from being luxury overall. It's not worth the price.
Nice location, the bed was comfortable. WiFi was available which was good as the mobile reception was poor in the area. The toilets were clean.
