Fantastic location and interestingly designed accommodation. Well laid out and everything we needed, balcony was a bonus. Actually the photos don't do the location justice, with a view of the marina on both sides. Easy to get to town using regular bus routes or even better, the Volks electric railway.

The apartment was very small. Adequate for two people but would be challenging for four persons. Furniture, furnishings and decor were very tired and poor quality. The worn plastic wine glasses were a particular disappointment. Two single beds were not comfortable. The apartment was overpriced for the facilities available.

Unusual location, right on the waterfront. Good views of life on the marina. Lots of chain restaurants to choose from and a large supermarket nearby.

Single beds, we ended up with back ache. Even on the sofa bed. Shower small, my son could not use it. Water taps an unusual method to use the tap water, we squirted water everywhere each time we washed dishes. Balcony chairs rusty out of metal and uncomfortable because of this the balcony was not used much.

Nice little apartment on the west jetty. I was quiet and comfortable. My son took the sofa bed downstairs and I had one of the singles upstairs.

there was no flexibility for early check-in (considering check out is at 11 am for guests- asking for a check in at 1:30 pm seems a very reasonable request) when I asked for information regarding early parking I wasn’t given it and told I had to wait until a certain time - Slightly bizarre. (when someone is travelling a long distance it isn’t very helpful for planning the day considering there’s a late check-in at 4 pm) thankfully I did my own research and spoke to a very nice security guard at the car park who was very helpful. considering the cost it would’ve been nice to have a little bit of flexibility and information.

for the size of the accom the price is not low but as writen above location is extra … the booking comes with need to read long list of rules with outlined penalties and you will be asked to prepay a no negligible deposit and install additional app. overall not a showstopper but to answer the question this was what I did not liked so much …

Accommodation in all fairness isn’t really well suited to a families with young children but this is obvious in pictures that staircase is steep and you need to be extra cautious (plus mezzanine floor). However adding a simple piece of timber to the left hand side of the staircase to close up the amount of open space would be safer. However not necessarily the market accommodation aimed at. We found the accommodation a little on the pricey side for the original amount as the furnishings are not high end (also London so price to expected) but I don’t think guests are always respectful of people’s property. Can’t fault it though great little find, location and property management team. Oh and the carpark isn’t suitable for an SUV with a roofbox 😆

The views from this accommodation were something else, just amazing to wake up and either side of you have fantastic views. The apartment was immaculately clean, the overall look of the apartment well put together. Everything you could need in a stay here. Communication with property management team was great too, regular updates and speedy responses.

The steep stairs would be unsuitable for a lot of people and we didn’t know how to operate the tv for normal channels but used Netflix . Some sort of welcome pack would be nice and maybe a pint of milk.. we would go back!

The location is amazing! This property is very quirky . The views from the balcony are to die for and no need to take the car anywhere plus free parking!! The beds are so comfortable! The checking in instructions were simple and easy to follow..

Is there no suitable place for anyone . Not recommended for travelling people

Bathroom so small and smelly and shower glasses super old and dertiy on edges qith mould and fungus ,staircase to bedrooms so dangerous, bedrooms so small , balcony so noisy, fridge so small and not making a food cold always was hard to close we had to throw lots of nice food out in the bin and such a shame to spend our money on this horrible place in Brighton, , so far away from parking to the property, property access so bad and no any access more than one person ,to pass the way to this narrow kind of road , property to hot , to expensive, in this day and age not any AC or even Fan available, no worth it, money and time wasting, so upset and disappointed

That we were not allowed to sit on the balcony between 10pm and 8am and were informed that if we did we would lose our deposit as the noise levels would be excessive- yet we are a retired couple not prone to making excessive noise and the temperatures over the period were high. That placed alongside the fact that a boat renovation was taking place just beneath the balcony of the accommodation, with an electric power sander being constantly used, during the hours 10am to 4pm made the stay stressful, due to the constant noise every day of our stay. The noise drove us out of the accommodation to find peace elsewhere, although you could hear said noise if you stopped anywhere within the Marina complex. It was a shame, because the site staff, other residents an boat owners were a pleasure to be around. Also, it would be useful to know in advance, that there is a quite low height restriction when entering the marina car park at ground level, so any SUV with a car box or similar vehicle can not gain entry at the access point - they need to inform security for the Marina Car Park, and gain entry via level 9.

Being close to the water and on the Marina the look and feel of the property was nice. what was supplied was adequate and met our lower than normal expectations. We liked the open bedroom mezzanine area, as we were on our own, plus the stairs were cute as we have no mobility issues. We liked the uncluttered feel, as essentials/everything required could be instantly found. We liked the views from front and back of the property.
